That was an amazing art piece

why do so many people paint the guitar with all the hardware still on? without doing anything to the finish underneath to ensure the paint sticks? just why?

I don't like white or black guitars. I do like purpleheart wood. But I don't think I would have ever stained the neck purple. Although it does look a lot more like purpleheart than I thought it would when he started. I would have flame roasted the neck and stained it to darken the char. But The purple neck is the only thing that makes the white blend in. But you know what they say, "every asshole has an opinion." In the end the guitar came out looking killer. I would be proud and unashamed to own this Six Stringed Razor.

I think saw dust and wood glue would have been a better choice to fill in the saw line rather than epoxy resin. The saw dust would have hidden it.

The repair was in the tradition of "wabi-sabi", I see? I like how you did it. I like how you left the guitar bare wood because that was a very nice slab of wood to show off. Забавно, владелец использовал гитару в качестве верстака, судя по пропилу на деке. Опять какая то лажа получается - с такими дефектами деки, тут явно напрашивалась покраска, да и смотрится как то ущербно. Странный косметический ремонт в общем, пропил залил эпоксидкой, а сколы и вмятины оставил...Звук у гитары отвратительный, как медведь играет на пне - минус уши.🤔

Hola amigo luthier japonés ! Como siempre tus vídeos me sorprenden y mi cabeza se llena de preguntzqs ideas y comentaios que hacerte. Disculpa que te escriba en español esta vez, si no se me hace muy complicado con el traductor... A pesar de que el color de la veta de la madera del cuerpo es muy bonito, yo la hubiera lacado de un color opaco,después de arreglar con epoxi el corte que tenía. Se hubiera disimulado del todo. Cosa de gustos Me gustaria saber si tocas musica propia compuesta por tí ,o cosas de bandas que por supuesto desconozco. Vuelvo a sugerirte que parte de esa demostración musical, la hagas conuna base de bajo y batería grabada o sobre un loop por lo menos. Se podría juzgar el sonido de la guitarra desde la perspectiva de estar incluido en un contexto más amplio. Pero bueno, esto solo son sugerencias de alguien que intenta acabar su restauración de guitarras, aprendiendo de tus vídeos y los de otros luthieres experimentados. Ya casi tiene la pinta de una guitarra de las que no has empezado a restaurar jajajajajajajajajajaja... Saludos !

This should have been a functional repair only. The guitar looked amazing as a relic.

Definitely cruelty to a guitar. But who dunnit? Try to find a guitar worth restoring. In the UK, there were more pensioners, "restorers" on ebay than was healthy. I quit. This just might be a light spray of Christmas silver spray...
