While I haven't had the opportunity to see the Snowbirds live, I am impressed. While they don't do the stuff like the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels, the precise formation is unmached. To fly a 9 ship formation as perfect as a single aircraft without being affected by wake turbulance. Perfection.

Don't let the pilot's down-to-earth demeanor and the 60 years-old tutor jets fool you, if you've seen Snowbirds fly, you'll know they are among the BEST in the world.

Question: A fighter plane flying at a speed above the speed of sound and making a tremendous noise - can the thunder of the missiles and bombs act inside the warehouses and explode.

RR Merlin engines are actually 1649 cubic inches, not 1665. Nice video though I don't care for the sharks teeth, is this a Canadian thing? No Lancaster ever had these, besides they were a night time bomber.

Thanks for the update. Agreed... the Shark Teeth paint scheme on the engine cowling may not be practical, but it's certainly a crowd pleaser. Looks Menacing!

My father was a mid-upper gunner in a Lancaster Pathfinder during the war...the most dangerous assignment there was. Pathfinders had to proceed the (usually) two waves of bombers, mark the target with green flares, get out of the way for the first wave to drop their loads, go back in to survey the damage, drop red flares to indicate places where the first wave had done their job and drop more green flares to indicate what should be concentrated on next, get out of the way (again!) for the second wave, go back after those loads had been delivered, take photos for estimation of damage done, and only then could they set their course for home! Dad and the crews he flew with made more than 60 missions over occupied Europe between 1942 and 1944. R.I.P. Wilfred George Young, D.F.C.! We who came after you owe your generation so very much!

I love the Hornet (tried in 1998 to fly one and failed on medical history), but it is so awesome. I actually like the side stick configuration of the F-16 and the F-35 more than the central position.
