Danny Richer T-28B Trojan

The Trojan was a trainer meant to get rookie pilots get used to how a Jet fighter would handle without it actually being one. They would graduate from the Trojan to the T-33 and later the T-38

Thanks Danny! I flew this airplane many hours when I was stationed at NAS Barbers Pt. in 1970's, and loved it. It was the best T-28 on the ramp. Got a great photo of it over the water there, if you are interested?

Ya got to love the T-28 and its wright radial engine, but 50 to 75 gallons per hour would separate the men from the boys, economically speaking of course lol.
