How? as soon as one of the turrets started shooting at me (not the laser thingies, the ones that shoot bullets) I died within 5 secs (I tried to dodge several times) and I died another 7 times trying to get my items back, when I finally decided to load a backup (didn't lose too much progress, though). If I try it again I will drastically change my settings (most importantly the setting to not drop items on death and the player damage taken setting) 4.8k Health, 900 Def, 1k Shield, lvl 52.

@@DuhByrd I was able to beat it without changing any of my settings (except for not dropping anything on death). I have three tips for you that I discovered that make the run relatively "easy", if you are interested: 1. Once you're there, don't use your pals at all (except glider pals). If you do not have a pal out, the turrets are actually unable to hit you (you can ignore them). 2. Your rocket launcher is your main weapon (I have a rear one and my attack stat is 135 (attack pendant + vanguards + 1 legendary strenght potion)). You can almost one-hit everything on the rig with a single rocket, but sometimes you need two (once the rocket is loaded (the 1 appears on the bottom right of the screen), switch to another weapon and then back to your rocket launcher. It will instantly be ready to fire again, cutting out the rest of the reload animation and almost doubling your fire rate). Pump Action Shotgun and Assault Rifle are good backups. 3. Proceed slowly and deliberately. Kill every enemy you see, don't ignore them and let them get behind you. (Like I do in dungeons, for example.) Once that happens, you're unlikely to survive. The best scenario, of course, is when several enemies are grouped together. Throw a missile at them and they are finished.

once the big oil-rig chest is found, u can basically bailout. its in like one of four different spots by random, NOT purely that bottom room. and ya him being wrong about so many things, including the blueprint was like nyuuuu tell the right info if you're gonna make a vid on it xD if you get enough height like with a Jetragon, u can also just fly completely over lasers then just hop off so they wont Pal-AntAir shoot you

All this to get 120 oil is not fast or efficient. You can make that way faster by just mining it using 4 Crude Oil Extractors. Almost all of the new base locations have 2 oil spots, and once you upgrade your base level all the way you can have a total of 4 bases. Now that they added in Coal and Sulfur mines you can have all of the resources possibly needed at any location now. The 2 giant tricks to know now is that you need to have 2 Orserk's assigned to EACH Large Generator and you need a Large Generator Per Extractor. Best way to get 8 Orserks is to get 2 and breed the other 6. I have 8 Digtoise (2 per mine type) and 4 Orserk at each base. The amount of resources gathered is incredible. Makes the only resource needed to get Pal Oil, Quartz, and Electric Organs. Quartz is in the new dungeons and you just buy a few hundred organs from the Small Settlement. edit: - Apparently you can utilize a dumud at the ranch to farm pal oil. - Also you can make a ton of nails and sell them to the wandering merchant for pal oil too. later on ore is so plentiful that this is a good way to make a ton of money.

Make a shitload of nails, sell to vendor for shitload of gold, use to buy pal oil and pal fluid. Wandering merchants sell both now. Way faster than grinding those resources normally. Same for AR ammo.

Hi, Im leaving this comment to let any solo player that may needed to know that "Damage from Player" multiplier DOEST ACTUALLY FUCKING MEAN DAMAGE FROM PLAYER THAT ENTER YOUR WORLD, which I thought is some kind of safety measure for the owner of the world. WTF, I thought it is normal to deal less damage to LVL55 thug, not until I fucking deal only TWENTY-TWO fucking damage to the thug you met first on the stair. FKING HEADSHOT, I thought "There's no fucking way, I actually pull out my one and only Legendary DOUBLE-BARRELED shotgun", which I never crafted it because it only has 2 bullets at a time. I already LVL55, wtf ????? This is so stupid. I cant believe I able to reach the middle section of the oil rig before finding this, I was playing with 0.1 damage from player multiplier all the time, jesus. And of course, damage to player multiplier was set to 5. :(

Look at your map, there's a circle on the south easter side. There's a fact travel point directly across from the rig, on the land w a merchant next to it. Fast travel there and swim/ pal your way on. It'll bring you directly to the stairs you need to climb up. Don't go unless you have the max armor. My first trip the guards were all bugged so I said fk it and saved ammo as soon as I was at the top the all came alive.. spent a half hour trying to get my loot back lolol

Palworld does create Backups, just load it. You might loose some progress, but it's better than loosing your hole team / inventory. Just click on your world, in the "World Select" screen, in the bottom left it says "Restore from Backup Data", choose the newest one, if it is too new (you already did the oil rig run), leave the world and choose an older backup. Continue until you find the right one.
