I know it's been a couple of years since you posted this but I wanted to say thanks. I couldn't find the ELRS version so I had to buy PNP for the first time, and NONE of the other videos I could find showed the position of the receiver. I'm new enough that this is a big deal. Happy flying! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

Really interesting. I've been playing around with trying to hack the runcam pro a bit myself. I found that the original one uses a wider lens mount than the wide. The original one has the smaller view, is that the one you're modding then? Which lens would you suggest to get a wider view and make it more like the -w?

I have a tinyhawk 3 rtf kit. I calibrated the accelerometer, but it will randomly reset itself leaning forward about 15 degrees causing difficulty keeping stable. Then sometimes it will go back to it original settings. Its like it disconnecting from somthing then reconnecting? It's also yawing like a clock, ticking by 10 degrees right until it completes a full rotations. It also sounds like it gets random inputs to 1 prop every 10 to 20 seconds. Tested props in beta flight, they were all fine. All plugs and connections are fine. Any advice?

Hello, great flight :)) Very smooth! Is it going to be responsive with 2004 2600KV motors, 1100 or 1000 mah 6s and gopro 8(battery included) ...I am thinking about building my first cinewhoop, and I'm worried that it would fly like a brick :D

So i dont think the rapidfire module is going through my goggles. So do i still have to be on the same channel with the googles themselves? When i switch channels and band with the module nothing happens. I still have video. It's like I'm flying without antennas on my goggles. Do i need to do something in the menu to get them to run through the module. I have it plugged into the av in. Its like its not working

Hi Ross, I'm Peter from Germany, I also bought a Foxeer Foxwhoop 35 last December. That's why I came across your channel and saw the first flight video of you, but I'm still miles away from flying like you and your music selection in the videos is terrific. Check out my youtube channel "peter bavoni" and have fun too. Question: Do you fly in acro or angle mode when you fly through the forest? Maybe you can give me your flight rates to help. We keep in touch, My dad thought I could fly too.... lol. He passed away too. See you soon Cheers Peter

Great review but a bit damming in parts. As already mentioned you can get the top plate with the countersunk screws. Not sure if this was a really early design but I’ve had mine about a year and there’s no nut under the rear GoPro mount. I built the frame with the parts Chris Rosser suggested and it’s definitely the best frame I’ve flown by far. You can definitely push the tune further than other frames and obtain an incredible feel. I think a basic tune and slightly wrong motor/prop set up will give what you have. A quad that flies the same as any other.
@CoppertopFPV Жыл бұрын
Early frame. He's amended it multiple times and took on the points I mentioned and a lot of others. I think part of why I was harsh is because frankly there is so much nonsense going on with these frames and the reality is they're fine but imo nothing special. If you go back to my apex frame review you'll find similar views although in fairness build issues aside that frame later grew on me and proved to be a sturdy well designed frame which goes to show these 'reviews' are just one person's view based on experience and yours may well be different

I thought the idea with TPU mounts was to have a fair bit of flexibility to filter out the high frequency vibrations that are harder for software to deal with. Yours looks rock solid - may as well be ABS! I don't have the Thumb Pro yet but am looking to order very soon. Thanks for your video!

Nice flight mate, I haven't flown in ages neither, going to make a point of getting back into it this year, too much crap going on in my life atm. This is the style of flights I enjoy the most these days, got fed up with the floppy flops, I find it way more relaxing flying a quad around like this.

Nice mate. I just built my Foxwhoop 25 with the same mamba aio and motors but I went for the 1404 4600kv instead. I flashed Bluejay and ran both the 96k and 48k PWM frequency and I noticed at 96k it runs a way smoother. Definately worth flashing so you can turn on bidirection Dshot on in Betaflight mate. You sound like northerner lad? I'm based in Cheshire, where abouts are you from?

@@Bmeadowz I have mate. This FC runs blheli_s so I flashed it with Bluejay with PWN frequency of 96k and it's way smoother. The lower frequency of 48k had a lot more vibrations.

@@CoppertopFPV I forgot to ask mate... what flight times are you getting? I'm running the 650mah 4s batteries and I like to fly fairly fast and rip it around my property. I'm only getting about 3 minutes but that's because I'm getting a lot of battery sag. I'm brining it in when it reaches 14V but then it can bounce back up to nearly 15V. Are you also getting a lot of battery sag? If so are you running it down lower than 14V because you know it will jump back up? Thanks.
@CoppertopFPV Жыл бұрын
@InertiaFPV haven't flown in ages. If I remember I got around that with the action cam on. Tend to go hard on little batteries so fly till 14v then do some closer stuff to 13.7 or so. Foxwhoop 35 frame just arrived so will be playing with that Soon

Had similar issues with the camera with small vibrations I think mainly due to the lightness of it making footage unusable. Got much better footage from my Caddx peanut on same quad (cinelog 25) although this does seem a bit sharper for raw footage. Might try making a heavier mount to see if that helps.

I suggest to use Gyroflow 1.2 and Runcam ThumbPro firmware 1.2.4, together with the new Runcam Android app. Jellow standard setting and std lens. They improved missing frames and jellow a lot. I noticed quite a big difference in your sync times (around 9min50sec). Try to delete the -22ms and -55 ms and add manual syncpoints on places where you see a lot of vibrations. Since I used the new software and good brand V3 SD card (can write 75MB/s), I got more consistent sync times (only a few ms difference, if difference is larger than 10ms, I delete that point and look for a better place to sync), less jellow and nearly no missing frames.
