I agree that it is powerful, yes - especially with the additional lines Stupes added for that COVID-era version that caught you off guard given your loss last year(for which you have my sincere condolences). This is among Stupe's most meaningful songs, IMHO for how it promotes taking good care of one another in spite of corporate & other negative influences.

7:50 no, those names are probably just the people playing as the characters in the Christmas carol movie in the song, just kind of like a fazbear entertainment movie or something in universe. The names of the kids who possess the original 5 are Freddy:Gabriel Bonnie:Jeremy Chica:Susie Foxy:Fritz Golden Freddy:Cassidy

Fun fact in the animation there’s a bunch of puppet versions of the main four animatronics and those puppets are actually real and they were made by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop the same group of made the actual animatronics and suits for the FNAF movie and they’re returning to create the animatronics in the upcoming second FNAF movie coming out next year due to release in the month of December

Thanks for the reaction, man! No Coke sponsorship, I highly doubt they'd pay me to use them as an example of everything *wrong* with Christmas, lol. You do not need legal permission to reference a brand in a piece of media, especially not for parody, critique or criticism. I'm also legally required to disclose sponsored work, so if a video doesn't open with a screen saying 'this video is sponsored' then it absolutely wasn't sponsored. I made the prologue to give the backstory, it says that Santa has been warned about this 'for centuries' and that this is the last straw. So he had been warned plenty! ;)

You're right in your observation about the voice acting. It could never be perfect because we have to rap at the same time. So the goal is to find little moments of inflection that trigger the character's original voice and dance around that. It was really tough but glad you liked it!

Now, for my reactions from when I first watched the episode: As soon as Jax started talking, I paused the episode and searched his VA. It IS Angel Dust! That's both kinda awesome and kinda sucky, because I really like Angel Dust, whereas I've heard Jax is a walking cluster of red flags of a person. I appreciate how there is an in-universe reason why characters are censored when they try swearing. That was one thing that frustrated me about RWBY, especially since the male characters had more vulgarity liberty than the female characters. If they have a way of confirming that years have been passing, I would actually find that comforting. Considering that a few of my many (probably left unanswered) questions for Caine would be, "Is my body in a coma? Am I dying? Am I at risk of dying from lack of care, like in Sword Art Online?" The Void itself censoring Caine is very Welcome to Nightvale or Sleepless Domain. I wonder if there is something about this world that makes people more inclined to mentally breakdown, or if the creators share Lovecraft's lack of faith in the resilience of human brains. That is, I would expect that my own experience might go like this: 1) Have fun and treat everything like a game, because that's what this is, right? 2) Gradually get worried, but still have fun while in denial. 3) Get really anxious and be more active in looking for a way out. 4) Make escaping my mission, treating it like a thriller adventure--less anxious, more determined. 5) Grow increasingly frustrated, tired, and accepting. 6) Decide to make the most of it and figure out a purpose in my new home. 7) Get used to my new normal, less attached to my former life, lean into my persona, have fun, and pursue my chosen purpose. Basically, live my new life to its fullest, even if that's as a whacky cartoon character. Then again, I might be uniquely adapted to finding my place in such a world, considering I already think of myself (at times) as a cartoon character. I wonder what I would be? 🤔 I am SO glad that Pomni went back for Ragatha. Given the circumstances, it made sense for her to prioritize self-preservation over heroism. That she went back when she was so scared is the mark of bravery. I would like to think that I would deliberately get Kaufmo to chase me, but in Pomni's situation and mental state, I realistically probably wouldn't. The world and its denizens feel very Nightmare Before Christmas, the Backrooms, and Madoka Magica witches' labyrinths. Pomni really needs to take a moment to close her eyes, focus on what she physically feels, practice deep breathing, ground herself in the moment, and just think about what her immediate next steps should be. "Oh, Bubble: you always know how to make me say this exact sentence." 🤣 Best quote this episode! I feel so bad for Pomni. Some of the stuff that happens to her feels violating (particularly in the merch promos). I'm glad there are some characters who might be healthy friends for her.

First, my reactions to your reactions + things I missed on my first watch-through of the episode: I love that you replayed the glitching sounds! 😆 I definitely recognize it, but I forget what it's from. A phone call not connecting properly, maybe? Nice call about Pomni! I noticed the number of letters in their names (most of them are six letters, whereas the current name generator only allows for five) and how each one relates to what they are (e.g., Jax as a piece from the game, jacks, or a jack rabbit), but I hadn't thought to look up what Pomni's name means. Oh, he'll take care of Kaufmo, alright. I'm so glad you're enjoying this so much! 😄 Oh. This is my first time thinking about the C&A logo. Like, I'm fairly certain we just saw Pomni's desk and the VR set she ostensibly put on, but why what's one thing C&A stands for? Cain and Abel. Not sure when I'll get to your second TADC reaction video, but I'm looking forward to it! Thanks for making this!

Your second assumption was right: this is setting up a song (just one, not a series, per Stupe's comments on this short). Blake→Bleak; there are other pins and references you may catch upon rewatching. Their prior holiday songs are worth reactions, imho. There are two versions of "Lights on a Truck," the later of which has additional lines; Backrooms is a stand-alone piece; and then there's the 4-part series involving horror characters and villains which should be watched in order of release, as follows: "A Very Scary Christmas," "Another Horror Holiday," "The Freight Before Christmas," "And To All a Good Fright"

Honestly, Salamanders aren’t known for having an ego. They’re genuinely just an Astartes that values human life to an almost odd degree (given its 40k, that could mean literally just not hating them but they actually will put themselves actively in danger for random normal humans, something very few other chapters would do (Lamenters are among them)) Vulcan is actually the one you pointed out midway through. As a primarch, he’s notably taller than most of his brothers, at about 11 or so feet, give or take, save for Magnus the Red (though that’s not fair since he can change his form as a psyker). Hes most renowned for his forging prowess, something that no one save the Emperor himself could match, and he forged a lot of things while he yet lived, including the massive Warhammer he wielded. Notably, it comes with a built in teleporter. Though he is dead, he is also a perpetual. A perpetual being an individual whom, upon death, can experience rebirth. This attribute gives these people the ability to return, as they were previously, even after death, Meaning that there is a very real chance he could return soon and reunite with Guilliman and Lion ‘El Johnson. And finally, the b-roll you see, animated and all, is a story that focuses on a necron reawakening, with Salamander Sa’kan as the main character. Green light and electricity is a giveaway of sorts.
@sapling763716 күн бұрын
Vulcan was a forger, and mostly spent his time mainly in the forges, and he built a lot of the artifacts the salamanders have
@sapling763716 күн бұрын
The salamanders are a loyalist space marines chapter who prioritize human life over their own. They hail from nocturne, which the air there turns their skin ashy black. Vulcan is their primach. He hide nine treasures/super weapons basically across the galaxy and the salamanders are trying to get them all back to get back Vulcan, who disappeared.

disgust and at the same time loving the music. Thats Nurgle for you lol. Nurgle is the Chaos God of Death, rot and decay. his followers arent exactly zombies as while their bodies are rotten they dont feel any discomfort or pain, while they have become unable to die (unless killed in combat). their slow and leisurely movement comes from the feeling of bliss Nurgle's gifts bring to his followers, as they no longer need to fear death from their POV. Thats why Nurgle is said to be the most loving of his children of all the Chaos Gods, by Chaos God standards atleast
