The mc in silent hill 2 is James sunderland and in my opinion i think that Andrea is singing as silent hill telling at first what he wants to hear because of his desire to be punished for his actions but eventually it becomes what he needs to hear to accept and move on in his wife’s voice

Spoiler He killed his wife because of a mix selfish and selfless reasons and he repressed those memories and thought his wife died to a deadly disease that she did have 3 years ago even though she only died 1 year ago
