Olivia had no right to even speak about Alex. She’s the one who he cheated on izzie with in season 2. She’s also the one who brought up a doctors past with a resident. Which is highly inappropriate. She can complain and be petty but Alex was just as much to blame as Olivia. Not to mention before Alex even cheated on izzie, during season 1, Olivia had sex with Alex while her and George were sleeping together, and that was who gave George syphilis. So Olivia had no right to even bring up cheating when she herself cheated on George in season 1 with Alex. And then engaged in sex with Alex in season 2 when he was seeing izzie.

Everybody has experienced somebody just trying to push their buttons and that shit getting to you. Probably one of my favorite episodes of the series for how well it represents that. I’ve also always liked the detail of Tracy putting the gun away after the fight. Like even though he beat his ass, the act of him even standing up for himself is what made him seemingly show him respect for the first time. At least that’s how I interpret that

First of all, beautiful voice! Very nice reaction to such a beautiful episode. I recently came across an interview with a black Brazilian union leader (I'm Brazilian too) and he mentioned something really interesting: people love to criticize poor kids who spend their money on brands without realising that, for many of those kids, that's the only way to have an identity. He says (referring to white Brazilian people) "your last names are already Tag-Heuer, Ferrari and Mont-blanc. These kids have apl the same slave master surnames that millions and millions have. This kid needs to buy and wear Lacoste to be known as Lacoste, otherwise, he's nobody." The white kid in the episode can't even understand what's so important about it. The black kids can. As a (latino) kid who grew up poor in a mostly white part of Brazil, I could still relate to the episode. I definitely relate to the clothes tag patrol. Like the teacher said, we have to consider that people are going through their own personal struggles and be kind.
