I found out that am more patient, understanding, overlooking certain things and most importantly I see myself not so angry as I used to be...I mean a terrible hot temper.....I now understand the different kind of man and the attitude I need to pray for... also allowing my choice of Man to align with God's own choice by letting him (God)do the matchmaking Himself..

I only have faith as small as a mustard seed. At times I had hoped God would being me someone with strong faith so my own faith could improve. God never did so.

Number 4. I found myself telling a friend the other day that I wish I understood more about marriage. I'm far behind where I should be. I never had my parents' or grandparents' marriages from which to learn. (My parents split up when I was five months old, and both grandfathers died before I was born.)

Haha! And they say gals don't care about looks! Thank you for the encouragement from you both-most videos of couples getting together are unrelatable because tbh they didn't 'really' wait (early 20's) but this one was. I've been in the waiting game for awhile after several a couple failed relationships (last one I truly thought was the one and vice versa) -not easy to move on from that and has rocked my faith in a lot of ways.

God told me he’s preparing me for marriage November 2023. I’ve been unemployed since February 2023 and really going through it financially. I’ve struggled in my career for years, trying to pivot into the industry that is a better fit for me and to be financially stable for the first time in my life. I can’t date if I can’t afford to date. 😅 I’m in a period of isolation right now where no one is reaching out to help and I have to call on God for every single thing. I’m going through 1, 2, and 4 on the list. I was in 5 in the past, but it was so draining that I was exhausted so God pulled me out my last job. Now I’m focusing more on God and myself. Searching for higher paying jobs now in the for-profit industries and trusting God in the process.

what if it’s courtship? like there are people who don’t want to be boyfriend or girlfriend and instead use it as a phase before marriage or how can I detect it?

My spending habits are getting better-mostly to travel but I used to shop a lot and bar hop(another thing I quit doing) I’m eating better and prefer to cook at home now. I’ve also seen a shift in myself recently where I’m mich happier now than I was even a month ago
