my opinion is that these tools will only get better and better (rn they're kinda unusable for anything) but i see them being a useful tool with helping artists articulate their wants to a producer

That was fun / funny! Shocking results!! But surely AI will dominate the library music/production music industry when it's able to create decent quality, editable music?? Why use a library or pay a composer when you can literally get what you want for free in seconds? Or maybe composers will start using AI instead of coming up with their own tracks?

I think the next important evolution is taking the song as it develops and being able to fully manipulate them in any software, once that happens it’s game over

Give it a decade or two. remember what amp sims sounded like in the early 2000s? sounded awful. now listen to it. same goes for midi and virtual string sounds. My worry about the future is the need for actual performers will diminish so much that it won't matter. it's already getting there.

Since this has come out a couple of my friends in the artificial intelligence world have sent me platforms into a better job than the ones I found, but to be fair I didn’t spend much time I just googled it and click the top three ha ha It’s based on more fixed options to try to give you a results that you’re looking for, I believe technically you could ask it to give you a song and give it no parameters but you have no idea what kind of output you’re going to get. They are trained to respond to forms of input to get your results, so I imagine it would be pretty gross if it’s told nothing else but make a song
