it used to be on spotify, alongside cute aggression and have you seen me. but for some reason it was taken down, i guess because some fans didn't like the heavy direction nicole was taking.

This song reminds me of how I lost my virginity (against my will, and I was drugged, not awake for most of it). What hurt me the most is I used to be so traditional, pretty much the opposite of what I am now... And I wanted to do the whole "save myself for marriage" thing. Like I had a boyfriend before that, but I was so old timey, I wouldn't even hold his hand! So just think about how messed up it felt that the one thing I thought I could give as a gift to my future husband, other than my heart, was gone forever. I know now there are completely different views about virginity, and I now know the super shady history of the whole concept and its role in controlling and oppressing women. But it still haunts me, not just because it was r*** ( Of course THAT haunts me), but because it was something I held as sacred, and to this day, is give almost anything to have it back. This song makes me sad, but it also gives me strength, and I LOVE how she says she didn't even feel it and it didn't hurt at all, almost like telling her tale and ending it with "but I mean, you have a tiny dick anyway, so........" 😅

well if you prefer more 'professional' songs made in a studio, then you'll like her albums Natural Born Losers, Heart Shaped Bed, and Married In Mount Airy. All of her other albums were made in her bedroom so they have a more raw sound to them, but they're honestly still so good too. My personal favorite song from Nicole is 'you're so cool' so I recommend that if you haven't heard it already..sorry for going on a spiel heh
