Im two years late but I always interpreted it as an innocence lost too soon. Could apply to a first love or S/A as a minor(which is what I personally viewed it as). Overall there’s a theme of hurt, loss of control and conflicting memories/emotion tied to these lyrics and, as long as it gets you to feel, I believe it’s done it’s job and whatever meaning you find is correct. It’s part of the fun when you get to apply your own meaning to a song:,)
