HIGHLANDER II têm vários problemas e incongruências, mas consigo enxergar alguns pontos positivos. O filme tem uma atmosfera de ficção científica distópica que acho fantástica. Acho muito bom toda a questão da destruição da camada de ozônio, a criação daquele escudo de proteção para o planeta e a sociedade decadente, estagnada, vivendo em péssimas condições debaixo daquele "céu" vermelho. O problema foi terem misturado essa trama ótima com toda a fantasia dos guerreiros imortais! E ainda por cima os apresentando como alienígenas! A trama poderia seguir de maneira parecida, com um grupo ecoterrorista contactando um dos cientistas criadores do escudo. E eles descobrindo que a camada de ozônio já havia se restaurado. E assim, organizando um ataque à corporação que controlava o escudo.
