My parents didn't knew French too, but i learned it in less than 6 months! Thanks to what? To google translate! Now no one can guess i'l not French until they hear my parent's accent

Hi Alice. I’ve only just found and subscribed to your channel as I find your journey to learning French to such a high standard absolutely incredible. I’m from the UK and obviously, my mother tongue is English. However my parents are from Mauritius and of course, the gave me a very French name, So, I find myself extremely embarrassed when all those I meet expect me to speak French fluently and perfectly. I do speak a little French but certainly not to a standard where I can express myself properly (or at all). I’m not young and so don’t expect that I’ll be taking exams, my goal is to be able to speak very good standard of French. I just wanted to say that out of all the channels on KZbin I’ve been listening to (quite a lot of them), you have inspired me the most. You’ve proved to me, without a doubt, learning to speak excellent French as you do is actually doable and not pie in the sky or just a dream. It’s something I would like to achieve. So, thank you so much for your time and wonderful advice. I wanted to let you know how much I love your ‘chats’ in French. Sorry about this very lengthy message but I had to let you know how grateful I am for your generosity. Bisous.
