I think sometimes we forget how far in life we have come. You inspire me to be better at French because you documented your journey.. It showed me we are never alone and encouraged me to press on. Not everything comes exactly when you want it... that's the journey and that's where the 'gold'' is. Bonne courage! Et, merci.

Hi Alice! I watched almost all of your videos cause I'm learning French (thanks to you I'm starting a course at AF in a few weeks) and, I find your writing vlogs quite relatable. I have a sustainable writing practice but it took years of consistency to master it. I found that having a notebook for everything-to-do-with-creative-practice really helps unblocking. I use it as a regular journal but write solely about the creative process and my mental processes.

Thanks for making these writing videos Alice, I find them really interesting. I would eat Nutella crepes too if they were more accessible. It was interesting how after your run your attitude had changed, just goes to show the research is right about exercise. I have a project I’m working on that has a deadline in a few weeks, but I have to fit it around my normal job so it’s a bit challenging. The other day I took the day off from working on it and I felt a lot better by just having a mental break, even though I had time in the day that I could have worked on the project I didn’t. It helped me keep going, so maybe give yourself the chance for a day off every now and then? Not sure if that’s what your book says though! Also, I remember hearing Tim Winton speak once about one of his new books, it was after he’d published many successful books and he had written a new book and it was finished and but he couldn’t submit it to his publisher, he rewrote the whole thing. He also said that writing is really hard, people thinks he writes easily but he said it takes a lot of effort to write/rewrite things. Good luck!

Bonjour ma très chère Alice , ça fait 6 mois que tu n’as pas partagé des nouvelles vidéos , j’espère que tu vas bien et que tu es en forme, en fait tu nous manques énormément :). ❤️❤️ tu m’inspire toujours, à vrai dire, ton parcours ton effort ta persévérance, ils sont tous pour moi comme un emblème :) et toi aussi tu es mon archétype , où que tu sois je te souhaite tout le meilleur 💕✨
