Power sword would honestly be absurd on both Psyker and Zealot so I don't see it happening really.

Why? Illisi already has better horde clear than power sword, and it doesn't even need to use special attack for it. Just a heavy attack will do.

I've been using heavy swords on my zealot for..many months now. I try other stuff for a bit, eviserators are good..but heavy sword just feels amazing. Going all in on dps, using headtaker and slaughterer tier 4 getting like 25+40% more damage then all zealot buffs for melee and crit% stacking turns heavy sword into a Fuk-blender. It struggles with Crushers/carapace and bosses but with decent ranged weapon can compensate for that weakness

Death blow is really good on the heavy sword right? Its like brutal momentum or something like that. I can totally see myself rocking plasma heavy sword or revolver heavy sword something like that. Maybe the fix to the bolt pistol will make it feel better to us xbox boys but only time will tell.

Every vet build I have takes field improv and more vets need to understand how clutch it is. There is no reason not to take field Improv and I always have the skillpoint to spare.

Its good if your team has been put through the wringer. I get more use out of stockpile if Im being honest here. Im always tossing nades since theyre free. Stockpile is a bad choice if you arent always using your free frags though.

@@blackop3765 when is field improv not good and especially at high level play? A nuke grenade or shredder grenades being refilled can save your run. Also with enhanced blitz you get even more grenades. Also in hi shock missions I throw a grenade every 60 seconds. Krak grenade users are notorious for just sitting on grenades wasting stockpile cuz there isnt a crusher or a bulwark in sight or its an end event where they just sit on grenades but thats why I dont ever play with kraks. I have no control as to wether people get value out of grenades or not but its a skill always worth taking and especially if youre playing with a psyker and can hit the ammo crate twice. I take it more so for myself and to be selfish nowadays but i always tell my teammates i have field improv. Sure if you only play hi intensity field improv isnt ever really needed but if all you play is hi shock and maelstrom field improv is one of the best skills in the entire game. It also makes it so that you can heal corruption from med crates. I play with demo team and field improv in every build cuz im all about min maxing my builds but i know alot of people arent. I regularly play with vers who dont even play with demo team who also dont throw a grenade every 60 seconds cuz they dont understand you can throw dozens of grenades in a run if you play with shredders and always stay at 1 grenade. I dont expect every player to know all these things though and many of them dont. Grenade value is a big part of the reason why i hate kraks, you get less value from demo team and they are entirely too situational for me to ever use them. I always get max value out of shredder grenades every run I play vet, i have zero control over what someone else does. If youre playing vet at a high level in high shock missions or maelstrom and you arent constantly sitting at 1 shredder to get max value out of demo team, youre wasting grenades but krak users waste grenades all the time anyway. I legit have games where ill throw ten grenades before the krak user throws 2 grenades its insane.

@@infrared6973 If I had an extra point Id take improv in a heartbeat because theres simply no way you could argue its a bad node. Im a lasgun enjoyer so theres a couple nodes you gotta pick up to get the most out of them. I would run improv simply for the team play aspect if not for that fact. But that being said I still think the main strength of improv is clearing corruption from the team. Not that the grenades arent a benefit but they arent really a big selling point for me. Youre also on the money about krak users sitting on their nades. Im a krak user myself but Im always tossing one, theyre free so why not. To each their own at the end of the day man, unless youre using smoke nades. Please god spare me from more smoke users.

I always hold by the medicaide station but i guess some people go train. I hate when people stand by the railings after bosses spawn in and get knocked or thrown off the edge and then snipers spawn in.

I cannot WAIT to see what you do with dueling swords on zealot. They felt strong even on Psyker who isn't necessarily built for melee. The Maccabian Mk V is my goat.

This ammo effect works on the other sniper rifle too. So I dont think its that perk bug, since the other rifle has different perks.

Just to add on to this. It isn't a bug with the melta gun specifically, but with aoe damage. For example, you can get the same results with the grenade launcher.
