Hi I just brought a hard steel 72t spur for my emaxx but no bearing came with it. I tried the normal bearings for my emaxx but their either to small or won't fit. Is their a special bearing I need?

well thank you so much this video made me realize im missing ths pacer that goes behind the pinion gear on my x-maxx. No one in Canada has it in stock at the moment but atleast I know what's wrong.

Always do a tug o war on dirt as well to give the x maxx tires an advantage like the xrt has on tarmac

Seems like a lot of work just to add an upgrade. Kinda dumb

Whilst I appreciate everyones desire to make their truck more able to defy the laws of physics , it makes the cost of the vehicle pretty expensive, along with ending up with a pile of parts no longer having any purpose. It would be far more advantageous to be able to buy a bare body chassis combination and be able to specify what degree of specification would suit your own requirements. This appears to be a ploy to encourage extra investment into making the consumer spend money on replacing parts that maybe the manufacturer should have addressed as an option. Great video though. Rant over!

Great points. However, I keep destroying the set screw on my pin gear! I went aftermarket gears with a larger set screw. Red lock tight, 24 hour cure. I made a “divot” in the motor shaft for the set screw to sit. All this helped but it still comes loose! It’s ridiculous! The pinion gear should be pinned! Or in a D shape. I’d like to be able to go more than one or two runs without a problem. Fyi 30 years on the hobby (mostly planes) but any help with this frustration!?? Thanks

Imo, stock motor is plenty enough for performance. So why would you want to buy & fit an oversized motor? This doesn't make sense to me? The idea is definitely ott.

I’ve been in a hobby, for at least 25 years, it was cold to see a video how to run a hobby shop. But what would be nice is a video on how you completely got started owning your own hobby shop from start to finish because I’ve always wanted to own my own shop and I have no clue.
