I used bigger plugs and cut the threads off then pushed then into copper terminal spades then soldered everything together. Zero resistance and handles 80a without a problem. 👌 Nice work

can I use the dvr with a simple composite signal? (ie from a cheap board camera) can i stop/start recording somehow, with maybe a signal from a PIR security sensor? if I cant stop/start it, can I just leaving it running till it fills the biggest card I (32?64?) that can fit in it? will it then stop or loop like a dashcam? Is there enough space to extend the battery bays inwards to fit 18650s? Might need to turn that right gimbal 180 degrees and add a mixer to corrent the orientation electronically.

Funny I found with my VR headset that it makes no difference if I have my glasses on or not, which is strange as I'm near sighted, my eyes are just damaged from working looking at a screen for 40+ years.

They could run the psu hot plugs by connecting some pins but they just could run them to take a small curent not the maximum curent. Could you please tell me how to run my "hp 2450w hstns-pr16 platinum hot plug" and "hp 2650w hstns-pr42 platinum hot plug" into a bench power suply to take the maximum curent and power? I bought the ev100 and they came w the dvr only sucks I got make a power plug from the inside of the goggles to the dvr because I got the battery pack without second plug for the dvr.

Just found the video. You mention that you think most people will move up to better, or at least more expensive goggles, but maybe not nearly all or as many as one might expect. I like my EV800D goggles, have had them for 6 years now (this is 2024) and have no intention of changing. For one thing, I simply can not use any type of 2-screen, binocular type, device even real binoculars as the images never line up for me. In my case, it is either box goggles or a ground station monitor. Yes, I also wear eyeglasses. Thing is, how many pilots are in my situation. The EV800Ds are actually used by long range pilots and have been used for flights as far out as 8 miles. Coolness doesn't matter since I only fly in rural areas and the only person who ever sees me is my spotter. I couldn't care less. The EV800D goggles are, hands down, my pick, the ones I use, and the ones that I recommend. Furthermore, I don't think there is sufficient value in high end analog goggles to make them worth the money. Of course, if you need box goggles, high end is nothing.

Looks like they have changed it, on my set the ground is the first ring at the bottom. Fixed it by re-soldering the cable. Video was still handy as I wasn't aware these cables were available in with different connections I had assumed it was the converter but all working now. Time to fly!!

I been playing Gran Tourismo since the 1st one and I remember doing all the 4-8-12-24 hour races. It was insane. I almost lost the 24 hour race to a bot and in the last corner he slit on dirt 😅.
