I worked with a young lad , found out he loved the Damned , he was 20 I was 50 , Smash it up became our friday Anthem as we had smashed our work target ... I love the opening. Saw you guys on the pre "machine gun etiquette tour" gig at a pub "pied bull" ? I forget , somewhere in North London just south of Holloway road

Saw The Damned in Eastbourne a few days ago, great gig as always and now Sensible is in my living room teaching me to play one of my favourite songs ever. My top bands of all time include The Damned, F Zappa, L Zep, Beatles, Talking Heads and Gong, to still be able to see these guys live every couple of years in local venues is absolutly amazing.

I have several damed albums and this one taste good I love the damed I actually made a play list of all the damed best and raity awesome kick us British rock band what's cool about this band they remind me to path way to a darkness of classic 60s new wave or goth and including metal pop rock 😊

I remember the 1sf time i heard the Black 🖤 album back in '83 blew me away. 1980? Was listening to the likes of Numan, Kraftwerk and Ultravox, didn't start listening to Punk till 82. '77 ? I was 11 and got 'Get Stoned' compilation for Christmas. See you Southampton on Friday the 13th 😱 Live long and prosper 🖖

I saw Eddie and Hotrods in 77 or 78 can’t remember but Squeeze and Radio Stars were supporting them I remember Paul was playing two Ricky basses the one he’s playing here and a blue one and he got a bit pissed off when he leapt in the air came down and pulled the jack out of the socket anyway he threw it on the floor and then it went out of tune so it got thrown again anyway good gig though .
