I can actually remember them playing that on supersonic. I first saw them on tour with marc bolan at west runton pavillion in norfolk..Happy days, they were loud and id never seen anything like it. Fabulous days..

I sat and watched this on Supersonic.....and was instantly converted into a disciple. I still remember the the guy who played "Macloud", just staring open mouthed when the camera returned to the directors booth

Saw you guys in Bradford 90 something when Patricia was on bass. My mates, as a joke threw me on stage where capt kicked me up the ass...One of the best nights of my life. I recorded most of the gig on vhs super 8.

I had this years ago on a bootleg VHS as well as it’s rehearsal version(s?) and I’m sure there was another rehearsal track on it too ?....”I Fall” ?? Lent it to someone who posted it back to me only for it never to make home then after months of back and forth with the PO they ended up paying me £18 compo. You kinda forget how easy youtube has made watching all this obscure stuff has become for everybody, almost too easy dare I say it. With everything only a 2 second search away some of the lustre has gone from the chase of getting to view old and rare stuff, shame in a way.

And Chat ......oh yeah , I’m easing up on re-buying all the re-hashed compilation albums Damned albums that have plagued us punters for all these years , but I still happily buy the new stuff. Once upon a time the only original “Black is the night” track off the new double comp would be enough to have me rushing to buy it , not any more though I’m afraid, youtube or Spotify scratched that itch to hear it and keep £30 in my pocket. I’ve still got all the original gig bought T-shirts , the MGE tour one from ‘79 and others of that similar vintage , none of which come anywhere near fitting anymore (blimey were we all once that slender!)

@@davidheafield1436 ...honesty admission- the last time I saw the Damned was '87 or '88 ..no idea what's happened since ( I remember the 'return of Brian James on OGWT in 91(?).... I saw the Damned 'Film/documentary ' but thought the director -editor messed it up by not ending at the right point (after the Brian James return )...he did same with the film' Lemmy '. I still have a signed ticket from 79 ,the Marquee 1977 gigs poster, & other promotional stuff (oddly much of it from the unpopular Music For Pleasure /don't cry wolf stuff)couple of photos (but they from mid "80s) ... & the original records from new rose to Black Album & some singles from a bit later.. I did phone 'the Damned' up - I'll tell it to you if you want .( I think) it's funny..

I actually remember seeing it at the time. I remember the way the band name was written in that paint style, and doing that on my school books. I love nostalgia. I remember John Peel saying that he wasn't into nostalgia and a brain surgeon told him that people who like nostalgia have one section of their brain slightly enlarged. La primera banda punk en sacar al mercado un álbum Que este fue " Damned Damned Damned" y el sencillo " New Rose, Vanian contó una anécdota sobre Captain Sensible, ​( que eso se puede ver en la forma en la que se ponía para tocar, y en muchas ocasiones en su forma de vestir, era y es un fanático de "Marc Bolan" ( en aquel entonces, aún se llamaban (Tiranosaurios Rex) después ( The Rex) en la forma divertida que lo contó Danian, !!me partía de risa!!...!!GRANDES DAMNED!! Junto con algunas Bandas más, sabéis que "The Adicts" ya estaban meses antes que "Sex Pistols" Esto último lo menciono, porque estoy HARTA! De que siempre sean calificados como la primera banda PUNK, .." The Adicts" crearon otra forma, o manera, diferente de estética PUNK! !! Otros GRANDES!!
