I wish Hizkeal was this thoughtful when Abiy hacked himself and the rest of the nation instead of celebrating and claiming that the sit of power shifted from "north to west" indicating a new era having Oromia leading the charge. He was saying it was Oromo's time and we have to deal with the new era. He acted as one of those street kids and high school drop outs. He is begining to regain his scholarly biases and sounding his age.

Jawar and many of his supporters believe that the EPRDF regime change was primarily executed by KERO only, often downplaying the contributions of other groups. As we witnessed, the change wouldn't have happened without the significant contributions of FANO, ZERMA, the diaspora community, other Ethiopian groups, etc. Jawar’s current efforts to bring significant change to non-Oromo Ethiopians are encouraging. I think Jawar and the Oromo elites should focus on running a unified movement to achieve a common goal. Otherwise, civil war could be entertained.
