One time I sunk a 60 or 65 yard lob wedge shot for eagle on a long par 4. This is the pinnacle (pun unintended) of my golfing career. I was maybe 16 or 17. This was in an actual junior PGA tournament. Only eagle on that hole in the tournament. Problem was, I completely butchered every other hole. I came in either last or close to last overall. If the ball hadn't have landed directly in the hole, it would have probably ended up going out of bounds, and I would have got a bogie at best. It was weird, we all saw the high arching shot, but then the ball completely disappeared. No bounce. Just gone. We couldn't believe it was actually in the hole.
