I understand that most people in this comment section don't give a shit or don't know about the mechanical keyboard community, but to all those saying that this is "useless" just please keep in mind that it was designed by an enthusiast, FOR enthusiasts. For an enthusiast-designed keyboard, the price really isn't bad at all. 0.01 was a person, BTW. I believe that he designed KB's for Varmilo, like the VA68M. Also, the split spacebar is really convenient if you bind the less-used one to backspace so you don't have to reach with your pinky finger like normally. You wouldn't believe how large the mechanical enthusiast community actually is, too. Nice review, BTW Frank.

I'm sorry but something I realize is that you once said you wouldn't do sound samples for speaks because of how the file would be *"It's pointless to include that, you'd be hearing what my microphone recorded, then was compressed when edited, and compressed again through KZbin, then played out of your headphones / speakers. Portato you do realize he was talking about things that give audio like speakers etc.. this is just a keyboard and it will sound very similar because there are no special sound effects or whatever that speakers may have. I think that's why.

I know this. I just find it funny how he used to not give sound samples for Speaks but he gave them for keyboards. In a way it is like going into a tech store and they will not allow you test speakers but they will let you hear keyboards.

I think it's really cool that a new company will do something like this FOR those certain people. I agree when I see those complaining comments about the price to what it has ratio I think they don't understand that there are differences and that it's perfect for someone and not for someone else. You have to justify the price based on what you want in the keyboard, not just all the flashy features like RGB lights, or an insane gaming design, etc.

Another great video. ;) Although I like 60% keyboards, recently pre-ordered the Vortex Pok3r RGB, i am not sure about this one. As for your choice of switches, thats subjective, I prefer Blue switches, but I am rather shocked about how loud (for a Red switch) , the Spacebar(s) are. That kinda doesnt fit with the rest I think. I remember my time when I had the Ducky Shine Mine YOTG edition here, damn, you could kill someone with that. ^^ It was that heavy. How is it with this one ? Cheers from Germany.

Wolfseye this board probably sounds louder than others with red switches since it's made of metal (plastic absorbs some noise) and has the exposed switch style.

Especially with per-key lighting. It's kind of a waste to have each key illuminated in that way if you can't even see it. You wouldn't be able to get custom keycaps either, because of that double spacebar.

This is an unpopular opinion but all keyboards should have split space bars. Most typers only use the spacebar with one of their thumbs. I could use my other thumb for a shift or a backspace.

Choice Band101 Not the USB type i have the problem with. It's the physical location of the port. I have a hole drilled for routing cables in the middle of my desk. Would look kind of weird off to the side. I love USB type C for the record.

Usb-c on both sides would be awesome. Lefties would be able to change the cable to the other side and a spare one for your phone. Other then that the keyboard looks badass in my opinion. ofc not rgb but i don't mind until it has some kind of back light. its not meant to be flashy just unique. But its definitely not for my wallet :D

I don't know if I can be counted to the people you mention around 6:00 since I have 2 mechanical keyboards myself, but I surely understand where they are coming from. All these mechanical keyboards from small brands are really expensive and offer very few benefits over a cheap chinese 60% keyboard on amazon (like the Drevo Calibur or something similar). Also, the MKB community isn't your main audience, so you shouldn't be surprised about this kind of comments.

$159 Which is what would throw me off. I could care less about programmable keys, there are programs that can already do that for existing keyboards. If anything, I think the Ajazz AK33 60% keyboards are still dope and are about $40 - $50.

no go, first of all, i'm sure this is personal preference, but i never use my right thumb for the spacebar lol, nor do i use the right shift while typing. but preference out of the way, they have to fire the engineer who thought of the idea to put the led's on the bottom and the font on the top of the keycap....

First of it's construction is NOT top of the line.. watching RhinoFeed's review it's much lighter then a poker3 so the aluminum used is way thinner..The one thing that let's this keyboard down. is the split of the spacebar it's not in the place i like .. seems that they have improved that on the Cono store in the renders it's now under the B instead of the N...Also one BIG problem is the bad BAD stabs they are plate mounted instead of PBC that means it quickly suffers from rattling and other noises.. that's why i prefer PCB mounted you can also read that in Quakemz review on reddit.. i would really appreciate if you can be a bit more critical Frank. or is it that i have such a high standard? i have to admit the last board i bought on MD was over $200 so i might me a bit of a keyboard snob.. But you can be a bit more critical mate..
