Bike price ~280000 + 5800 dna filter + 22000 exhaust + 22000 ecu + usd forks ~ 25000 for whole setup + over 30000 setup for brembo brakes + aluminum rims 25000. Lord knows what else... This whole thing costs well over 4 lakh. I wouldn't call it a "fraction". But yeah.. Its an awesome value for money motorcycle.

Bro, you could try shorter gearing matched for around 150 kmph tops unrestricted, and a quick throttle! I bet that would scare the shit outta anything around canyons ! Who needs top speed when you can have fun!

Man, honestly I am neither about top speed or acceleration. I ride in a very relaxed manner. I wanted to build this bike a certain way and I'm happy with that. I don't ride the way KZbin would lead you to believe :)

Getting some real nice bikes in India these days. I'm from the UK, when I first visited India in 97, there where Enfields and lots of two stroke Yedzi 250s and 135 Yamaha's 👍

Dear David, the biking scene as well as road infrastructure in India has changed vastly since then...Now almost every top end bike is available in India (and of course very basic commuter bikes are also available which go some 70-90 km in just 1 litre of petrol!). While our road sense is not necessarily much better than that during 1990s, the roads themselves are far better - if you are cautious enough, then exploring India on motorcycles is very much possible and enjoyable today and the bike touring community has increased by leaps and bounds. You should definitely give it a try if you love such kind of adventure!

@@jeevanchaukar Hi, I did visit in2016 a d road from Delhi to Leg and back solo. It was fantastic. I was shocked to see how much had changed since my first visit . Manikaran, and Kasol where unrecognisable to me, I cried at the loss of a vision I held of a rural idyl in the Parvati valley 😢 it is sill beautiful, but not how it was. I rode. 220 Bajan Avenger which I bought used , in Karol Bagh, I rode it back and sold it again in Delhi. I love India and will return.👋

@@davidaston1644 Nice to know. Even I rue the fact that whenever we do "development" of any region that was once difficult to reach, we end up spoiling all its charm within five years or less. We must learn this from the western countries how to preserve it while bringing modernization. Actually Indians are so blessed in terms of nature, diversity and culture...We should not spoil it but that does happen.. Many don't show any sense towards heritage and history.

Man that's one hell of a speed run! For a 650cc twin classic bike these number's are excellent. It can keep up with the 4 cylinders same class bikes till 180kmph🤔

Hi. It gets sporty with rearsets, which I prefer. But you'd need to lower the bars too or it will seem a bit unnatural.

Even with the stock front sprocket I guess there would be around 5-10 Kmph more. The bike doesn’t seem out of breath it just hit the limiter.

The little wheels would probably put the speedo out. A friend restores instruments and has all the gear to recalibrate them, if it's a regular cable driven gauge they are corrected by raising or lowering their magnetism. They have a magnetic coupling that prevents damage to the gauge should the bike seize. By increasing or decreasing the magnetism of this coupling you can correct it.

Hi Abhinav, nice mods you got there bud. With quarantine I had some time on my hand and was wondering if I could get 2 things done, this would make this bike complete for me. 1. Handle riser - minor mod to make seating position upright 2. Rim covers - or wheel covers, usually seen on big bikes like Boss Hoss, Harleys, etc where they cover the spokes and what you instead see is a shiny chrome plate I dont know if you do it in the workshop, but if yes I would like to get these done. Any other minimalist mods (read cheap 😂) that you can suggest would be appreciated. Lastly, congratulations on this feat. Well done, ride safe.

Hi. You can get the handlebar risers by SS Moto, ADV Tribe, HDT Customs... Anywhere really. I'm sure Speedmonks will fit it. And I don't think they do rim covers.
