I would just leave that blank for the video introduction and make the rest of your profile better. Check out what some other data entry people are doing. You can filter the freelancers by who has made more than $10k+ as they would be a good person to copy.

Honestly, This is my actual advice (As this is what i did). Get a regular job and use the money towards connects. The connects are super cheap if you make sure your proposals are personalised and you get connects refunded back to you when you get a response.

Brudda. The route he is suggesting as a new profile will cost a lot (particularly as a beginner). You are £600 down each month regardless and Upwork take 10% off your earnings and they hold your earnings over a period of 2 weeks unless you want to pay even more fees for instant payouts. High cost for a beginner with a new profile

Brother. As a complete beginner, this is a very expensive route. To send 10 proposals a day for 30 days. Will cost more than £600+ I am more than happy to do this but don't have £600 laying around each month. Not feasible financially for a beginner with a new profile..happy to be proven wrong.

@@R_Interstellar I am happy to do it if I had £600+ just laying around but £600+ essentially $800+ is steep for a month of connects to potential work with clients WITHIN a platform that will still charge me for working with those clients. It is alot of upfront cost for a platform where just one bad review for a new profile can be a killer. I know cold is cold. But Upwork probably isn't the best for beginners like myself. Decent video but I feel you should put the cost involved Ryan.
