There are moments when I come across places on the internet that you've visited and vlogged about, and I feel like I've been there myself. But, in reality, I've only watched your vlog, thank you for taking me to places I have never been before, but through your vlog you made it possible. If you want to explore some local cultures of Cordillera in Baguio City, you can also visit Tam-awan Village. It's not really a village but a small ecotrail that depicts different traditional houses. There used to be an art gallery where arts and paintings from local artists are displayed - I think it is still there. There is also a small hike/trail and a restaurant that serve local dishes. Best visit during summer coz it is slippery when rainy. Locals value arts and culture but gatekeep them a bit from tourists so the locations are not usually shared in google.

It's my first watching your videos. I always look at vlogger trips to my hometown in La Trinidad because I miss it. Pardon my long comment. Anyway, I'm impressed with how adept you were in the jeepney. We, Cordillerans, usually are shy and do not want to bother foreigners, and prefer to hand our fare to our fellow locals (that's why they were using our language instead of English). Still, you caught on quickly with the no-hesitation and took that fare to give to the driver. Just by that, I'm already subscribed. Also, wanted to give out some friendly advice. Mt. Yangbew is another trail in La Trinidad that you can visit next time you want to hike. Sagada, Mt. Province, is another place local and foreign tourists visit for nature trails and cave spelunking. Back to your video, there are two main jeepney routes from La Trinidad to Baguio. You were on the Magsaysay route and got dropped off nearer to Centermall. The Bokawkan route drops you nearer Burnham Park, just below the City Hall. Also, you should try the local cuisine the next time you get there. Good Taste is one of our local favorite restaurants because they make good Filipino food with quality and a lot of quantity for cheap. One reason is that Baguio City is within the Benguet province, which provides a lot of vegetables for most of the Luzon region, and you get them fresh from the La Trinidad Market. The farmlands you were referring to while you were in Mt Kalugong were part of the Strawberry Fields. Finally, besides the weather, the Cordilleran region is also known for its rich culture including their local cuisine, but it's more of an acquired taste for non-locals. The last time I went home, Farmer's Daughter Restaurant is a restaurant that I went to and they offer Igorot cuisine on their menu. It's located in Baguio City, farther from the center, though. Best to use a taxi. Pinikpikan is a good rich soup when the weather is cold. Stay safe and good luck on your next adventure!
