No not each number play it in 0,25 but still very good. Tesla indeed has one of the best speedometer out there because every number is shown and it just makes everything feel even faster… Aprilia for example does every number too. Ducati, Audi and Porsche for example just update the number twice a second or something like that and it just doesnt give you that feeling of acceleration when you look at the dash, just a feeling of speed :/

0:14 First gear to 160 kph, in real money terms 100 mph. So much more fun in the 70’s where 3rd gear at 9,000 rpm on my old GS750 was 90mph. The moral of that short story is with 69hp you could wring its neck on a regular basis and not be locked up by the rozzers in an instant. Although VASCAR caught me in ‘77 at 103mph (indicated 105mph on the speedo - I was impressed by its accuracy) down the local motorway. That was a £50 fine back in the day - a lot of money for an 18 year old. You might have guessed I won’t be buying a 1000RR. Great video though

@alexwithanx are you sure it's not the original gearing? I've heard of guys going down a tooth, make the gearing shorter for more acceleration, not make the gearing longer. They mightve gone with longer gearing on these newer ones. I had a 2016 model that did 150 in 1st gear

Ye but this guy is doing 310 **GPS** in 5th. I own a ZX-10 and i personally went up a tooth and made it longer. Awesome for highway. But the zx10 lacks the torque in the lower rpms so it felt like i had to go into second every time i tried to overtake someone in a normal pace lol. The newer these bikes get the shorter the gearing gets. Same goes for the M1000. Its actually shorter than previous models (they went to 47 in the rear now on the 2023 model). @@SR22VET-S15

That's not the most insane thing as many liter bikes can reach that in first. What's truly insane is that he reached the gentleman's agreement top speed of 300 km/h (186mph) on 4th gear, with 2 entire gears left, and even held back on the throttle at the end due to running out of road. Most stock liter bikes have to fully use all 6 gears to achieve this. Absolutely insane.

I highly doubt, that this would be the standard transmission.... Over 310 in 5th gear and still one gear left.... I did drive a S1000RR and do own an HP4. I have not ridden the new M version yet but due to the "gentlemens agreement" .... Would not the speedos normally be limited to 299 kmh? So for me, this indicates, that something has been done to this bike and the gear to speed also does some kind of seem abnormal...
