0 - 30V 2mA - 3A RED Power Supply Board (Aliexpress)

After showing over 90 watts can be output using one of these kit iterations. Elecifun is trying different Op-Amps, different output transistors looking to solve the output transistor blowout issues occurring when the output is shorted at full voltage and current.

Uni-Byte has made a number of videos on this board concurrent to you right now. He found that he wanted to get a lower transformer voltage so the opamps weren't operating at their max limits, amongst some other issues. It can be a hell of time getting any genuine power transistors from china. The love putting smaller ones in the big packages...

The ps is good really good. What kills it is the fact it may burn the opamp with 24v transformer

@franciscoferreira-eh1yu using real TL081's the circuit is fine with 24V transformer. Some of the supplied op-amps are sub standard so might fail.

@decem_unosquattro9538 I missed out a faulty 0.47 Ohm 5 Watt resistor... Some of the kit 2SD822's are worse than others. I need to rerun tests with genuine. Some of the supplied op-amps work and some don't. The pot adjustment for current could be better spread across the resistance of the 10K pot. Hopefully today genuine 2SD882's arrive, retest to see if there is any difference on output and short circuit outcomes.

THis circuit is not good. The transistors burned out when i raised the current in my case twice. There are simple circuits available with lm317 and 2n3005 x2 transistors for attaining smame voltage and current.

@decem_unosquattro9538 The goal for me is deep sleep as I only get 30 - 40 minutes a night. My watch recommends 1.5 hours. I am getting more exercise. As pre diabetic I don't want my physical health to be a burden on the UK health service. So sleep important. In my head it makes sense.
