I have a 2019 FXFBS Fat Bob 114 with Stage 1. I live in your area. Do you still have that Fat Bob 107? I almost traded in my Fat Bob 114 for the Lowrider ST 117, but I didn’t go through with it. I love my Fat Bob too much! It’s the most nimble Harley ever!

Have you rode a 114 yet? If so, how does the 107 stack up against it?
@JonsMotoGarage5 жыл бұрын
I rode the two back to back but it was in the demo setting so I couldn't really get on it. Just cruising along, I didnt notice a huge difference. However, if I was gonna drop the money on a new one, I would probably fork out the little extra to get the 114.
@kyleregister57785 жыл бұрын
just some food for thought, the fat bob, while gorgeous, the 114CI version only produces 80Hp for a 650 pound bike, however, if you pony up the extra money and do a stage 4 your looking at about 120Hp. Also, theres a 7 speed drive train available for it search baker dd7

Happy 4th of July, Jon. Now that you've logged riding hours on your built FXDLS, how would you compare it to the new platform M8? If you where going to choose between the two which would it be today?
@JonsMotoGarage5 жыл бұрын
Thanks, man! I think the m8 is superior overall and I'll likely end up with a softail m8 at some point in the future. However, there's still something I dig about the rough ride of the dyna. Lol. But the dyna wobble will always baffle me. Hahaha!

If all goes well I’ll be doing the 131 on a new fat bob. I’m out here in AZ as well. I was going to get a low rider S to do the same but I’m really digging the new fat bob man. I feel club style would be sick. May slap some new Ohlin’s front and back to raise it just a tad and improve the ride. Never thought I’d do that since I usually slam my bikes but I’m really digging this apocalyptic styling with actual function. I can see my shot gun strapped to this bad boy. Love your vid and bike bro. ✌️🤙

I know this is a super old video, but could this be a first bike for a new rider? I’ve done tons of research, watched countless videos and know a lot about them. Clutch engagement, clutch control, shifting, down shifting, front brake usage, counter steering, RPM ranges, etc. I originally wanted to get a CBR600 as a first bike, but I sat on one of these and loved the feel of it. Definitely a more comfortable bike that could make a 2 hour commute do-able. I won’t be able to get one till I’m 18, but as a 6ft 180lb guy who’s careful and knows his limits, what do you think?
@JonsMotoGarage Жыл бұрын
With your height, I think it would be doable as a first bike especially if you take it easy.
