So you know how the crown Vic cop cars had upgraded cooling systems for idle? Did this Taurus get any upgrades too? I know suspension yes but as far as the cooling system or whatever to make it sturdier hah

Yes. Still a standard mod to support hours of idling. I have the 2018 Taurus model. Pretty fast.

damn if only i had known i had a whole 3 second 0-60 advantage in my mini when i got pulled over for speeding by an unmarked taurus. although at the time it definitely wasn’t stock. the build at the time included an ecu remap, a 42mm turbo, h-pipe, and spectre cold air intake. on a good day with 93 octane it would hit 60 in the 4.8-5 second range edit: although it’s probably best i didn’t try to dip since i didn’t have any contraband on me and being in such loud and visible wheels would’ve made it harder to blend with traffic or evade in general. if you want the perfect escape vehicle you get a motorcycle. dress in the typical black attire with a black helmet and it’s suddenly a lot harder for cops to effectively give an accurate description to other cops. “suspect dressed in a black jacket on a black bike”. that statement alone probably describes at least a dozen or so people in a single area at any given time, especially on highways.

Продал потому что она бестолковая. Практичности ноль, комфорта тоже не много. Я отснял материал, хотел обзор запилить, но всё никак 🤔 Помпа потекла у нынешнего хозяина, примерно на 170т км. Менять её ох как не просто 🤦

@@BadMach04 pretty sure that's the stock Taurus weight unless you've stripped all the extra bracing and everything else out of the car for weight reduction. Probably 500 pounds more

anything over 300 isn’t going to be caught by it but most cars over 3,000lbs probably need at least 400 wheel to effectively put a quick gap between you and your pursuers so you can dip at the next exit.

Obviously light weight caar runs faster than a police car but police cars are way more heavy and they were designed for safety performance and not for racing

@@thechampion9525 Well yeah, I just meant that if I were comparing raw performance, in a normal Taurus with the same police interceptor rigging and engine, it’s still a lot for an engine like that to haul around. My Tsx does consistent 5.06 second 0-60 times
