මට ADHD. එත් මන් ඒකට කැමතී. ඇයි ADHDවල හොද පැත්ත කතා කරන්නෙ නැත්තෙ. 1. Creativity 2. Enthusiasm 3. Adaptability & Risk taking 4. Hyperfocus 5. Resilience මට අවුරුදු 19ක්. ADHD කියලා අදුරගෙන ටික දවසක්. පොඩි කාලෙ ඉදන් බැනුම් අහුවෙ මෙහෙම දෙයක් නිසා දැනගෙන හිටියෙ නෑ. ඒ වගේ මේ තත්වය නිසා ලොකු තැනක අද ඉන්නවා. මොකද මන් ඒක එක්ක සටන් කලේ නෑ. ඒක මට ලැබුන තෑග්ගක්. කරුණාකරලා දෙයක් ගැන කතා කරද්දි ඒකෙ හොද නරක දෙකම හොයලා කියන්න. හැමදේකම දෙපැත්තක් තියනවා.

Diagnosed at 25. Initially treated only as anxiety and mild to mod depression. Interesting thing is I wasnt the typical hyperactive, attention deficit child when I was younger but quite the opposite. Had very good marks and grades at scholarship exam, term tests, ols and als and i got selected to medical school and now in fourth year. So i dont have the typical history of a child whose school life was a mess due to wasted potential etc. Things only started to change after the als, which was a change from my initial ' scholarly' type of life. The parental grip was way less on my academic life and there was access to social media, something tht wasnt there in the early stage of my life. Symptoms started to worsen within a period of 5 years and here i am struggling to understand what triggered ADHD in me and how to navigate a highly academic landscape with impaired executive functions

ADHD usually presents throughout the places a person is going. (home, school and other places). Better to get a face to face assessment with a child psychiatrist..... Where are you from?
