Here I show you from A-Z, how to remove the climate control panel on a MINI of the 1st generation (R50/R52/R53), open the climate control unit and replace the defective bulbs (2 pieces).
Of course, I will then show you the complete re-installation in the center console with subsequent function check.
Since I'm still practicing/experimenting at the moment, I ask for your indulgence and appreciate any constructive criticism.
Only in this way I can become better and respond to your wishes, ... ...
The 1st part, where I expose the center console, you can of course also take as an example, if you want to install another radio, replace the downtubes (painting, water transfer printing, laminating with leather Alcantara (microfiber fabric), ...).
The amount of work is the same here.

Super Anleitung! Dank deines Videos konnte ich auch die Glühbirnen austauschen, obwohl ich zuvor dachte, dass ich das gesamte Panel austauschen müsste. Es fühlt sich gut an, dass ich ein Bauteil für ein paar Cent reparieren konnte, das ich sonst weggeschmissen hätte. Vielen Dank!

Beim Facelift müsste aber die Mittelkonsole komplett entfernt werden, weil die Downtubes von unten eingeschoben werden. Ist dann etwas mehr Aufwand, wenn die Downtubes ausm Weg sollen.

Die untere Konsole, wo die Downtubes eingeschoben sind, hängt nur noch am Stecker des Zigarettenanzünder und der muss dann natürlich abgezogen werden. Dann sind die Downtubes frei um von unten herausgezogen zu werden. Das stimmt! THX 👍

Wahnsinn was das für ein Aufwand ist die birnen zu tauschen. Wie ist des bei der klimaautmatik? Danke Sascha für die Arbeit! Gruss sepp

Aufwand ist etwas geringer, da es bei der Automatik keinen Seilzug bzw. Welle gibt. Das Bedienteil selber ist fast identisch. (muss ich aber selber erst mal eines bei mir im Lager suchen und öffnen :-) )
