Nice well put together Podcast. When I look to slow down and get back to basics, I break out my Pentax 67II and go manual everything. I get nine shots per roll and try to make them all count. It takes me back to when I was first learning on my K1000, only the negs are AWESOME!!! I would like to try Digital Medium Format but my finances/workflow cannot support it at this time.

Nice, that Pentax is the reference standard for 6x7! Hope you're well PJ!

Great podcast, I keep getting closer to getting a Leica Q or Q2. Gonna wait a few weeks to see where the prices go. Currently shooting a Sony RX1RII as a daily, the Sonnar 2.0 is a treat with the leaf shutter, but it’s not exactly Leica color science. I think I could live happily ever after with a 28 and a 35.

I just picked up a Q2 back in November! I love it! I went to a Leica Akadamie in NY. It really helped me to understand how the camera worked. I sold my Sony RX100 to help fund the Q2 and never looked back! I'm a lover of B/W.. and are thinking seriously about the M10 Monochrome... but that wont be for a long time...

Ooh, that's a tough one. The Leica is very different. I haven't shot with the Sony but know friends that have enjoyed that camera a lot. The Q is a great value right now (for a Leica) but only 24mpx whereas the Q2 is going to have the superior image quality but almost 2x the cost. Maybe you can rent a Q or Q2 for a day and see how much you really like it?
