Next up, low IQ Hollywood 'goes woke, goes broke' with Bond. What they don't understand is that James Bond is supposed to be debonair, a rough diamond, somewhat brazen, an adventurer and, yes, an expert seducer. Since some Hollywood types only have a vocabulary of about 4 adjectives, it is hardly surprising that Bond has recently been labelled 'sexist' 'not current' etc, but let me explain why this is predictable drivel 1) It is merely a fact that some spies, past and present, male and female were adventurers, had to be brazen and were expert seducers. This was in order to gain information, set honeytraps and so on. 2)There is nothing triggering about a man being a rogue loner with wry wit. There is nothing inherently sexist about a man seducing a woman, or multiple women in the context of the story or generally, depending on context. We live in an era where women quite casually gloat about having 10 boyfriends who believe they are wild ass kickers. Should there be a show where women go around conquering in some manner, for example? There already have been many shows of such nature. Context is everything. 3) If Bond is just a guy who goes around punching people then talking about War and Peace with his granny, or nattering about some political issue which no woke person understands (all lazy, woke people should stay away from politics since their brains can only process 5 percent of any issue and make up their gibberish based on that) or having a cup of hot milk before bed we are in a different film all together. That film might be good, or it might be horrible. It might look like a crude and lacklustre version of Jason Bourne. Most people who support a woke Bond wouldn't understand an intellectual film either. Why not keep tastes separate so you can appreciate each one? 4) Audiences are smart enough to know what fiction is. No human can fend off 200 henchmen weilding machine guns with an ankle pistol, anyway. They can certainly build themselves to be formidable warriors, but they can't do that. Therefore, you might as well accept that these are archetypes. They have some basis in reality but take the audience into a sense of extraordinary. 5) Not everyone lives a boring life. Yes most woke people live with their moms till 50. However there, amazingly enough, really still exists people who know that having 50 genders will not make you interesting, impressive, worldly nor will it give you stories to tell your grandkids. Some people really do travel the world, drink exotic drinks, meet many unique people and, yes, do many more of the things Bond does. There are even people who have a 'settled' life, who still exist within a paridigm of adventure and actually achieve things. So there we have it. Although you will not want to hear this final, slightly conspiritoral point. There will always be someone who benefits from humans being bland, dull, weak and dumb. You may think it can't be so, but history proves otherwise. By following the woke hollyweird films and giving them your money, you support this dilution of culture into something akin to dishwater mixed in with days old sink froth. Luckily most people don't watch woke Hollyweird films and seek out the good ones. Just requires these barely conscious film producers to figure this out.

They way that their teams hustle is so amazing it very, very hard to find words. For me, I see them mulch material at a phenomenal adrenaline pumping rate it is scary. Hundreds and hundreds of people working round the clock for that shot, in this case loading Bond 26. I will say, if you submit a toned idea, they've been through your hotel room suits with Red camera loaded helicopter totally clocked before you even notice they've already taken a bite and given you a sound track and production treatment short. They're like a good for you and brilliant 007 government.

Amazing! A small request- shall we expect to see more lengthy in-depth talks with Chris Corbould, Suttirat Anne Larlarb and Linus on their processes and strategies used for the film? Earlier 3-4 min clips were not exactly sufficient and would truly love to hear more from them. Oh and yes, can we expect some ravishing scenes with the Aston Martin Valkyrie in the next Bond film, quiet a teaser was it at the wind tunnel scene with M.

I LOVE Casino Royale. I wish I could love this movie. Ive watched maybe 5-6 times now and I think I keep trying to find magic in it but it just isn't there, for me atleast. I think it bothers me that they get an actor like Rami who just came off a superb performance that was full of energy just to have him be this lack of energy, mediocre villain. The ending, the death scene just seems so dumb to me. I get what they were trying to do, but how selfish does Bond come off that he rather die because he can't touch them yet he could live and always be around to protect them and see his daughter grow and not be without a father like he was. Its kinda frustrating the more I think about it. I think what really held these movies back after Casino, is that they all connected. And so you have to explain what's happening because of what came before. Cary did a great job and making Madeline a more fleshed out character and getting the chemistry between the two actors to actually be there. But after Spectre I was ready for her and Blofeld to never be mentioned again. I hope the next set of films is more focus and planned. I would be ok with them even remaking the stories from the books again like Dr. No, etc. Craig would have been perfect to have remade those stories after Casino, but oh well.
@888bangthory2 жыл бұрын
NTTD is pure magic and comfort food viewing for me and hits me hard emotionally , don't think Rami gets enough credit for the understated eeriness and yes Bond accepts his fate , but it's not like he had a choice , he was bleeding to death from at least two bullet wounds and ran out of time as the missiles rained down
@FEARisCOLD2 жыл бұрын
@@888bangthory I respect everyone’s own personal view on the movie but those two gun shot wounds are nothing for bond lol. He got shot twice in Skyfall and he was just fine. Remember Casino and Quantum are basically all in the same time frame and he did allllll of that and walked away just fine.

How to make a REAL BOND MOVIE: 1) A strong masculine handsome leading man... no wimpy pansies. 2) A good story line. With believable action sequences. You know-- improbable but not impossible! 3) Awesome gadgets. 4) A car that exudes COOL, with spy features to die for. 5) No political correctness... we don't care about socially acceptable crap. We want a REAL MAN --- NOT A WUSS. 6) GIVE US WHAT WE WANT!!! 7) You will make a billion dollars or more ! 8) Listen to me !!!!!! Signed, The REAL JB

They messed up big time! Fukunaga was a poor choice to top off the franchise feat Daniel Craig. I Found that the scenes, specially the action ones, which are distinctive of 007 movies, were thrown together as opposite to say Skyfall or Casino Royale. Martin Campbell would’ve done a better job or other action specialist such as John Frankenheimer or Michael Mann. The end itself was ridiculous having an experienced MI6 agent who had gone though everything under the sun going to a trap for fools.

I'm surprised Guillermo del Toro loves this film despite the deeply flawed screenplay. On one hand we have an emotionally driven narrative but it's loaded with contrived plot points and is driven by it's ending rather than the ending being an organic part of the story. In the end it's a pretentious Bond film (the most pretentious to date). I guess Guillermo and other fans are willing to overlook NTTD's problems and just go along for the ride. That's fine, but I can't understand why Spectre is so hated.
