the train diorama is beautiful and looks like the original, not a miniature, a harmonious blend of nature, houses, trees and rivers..it's really mesmerizing to see it.. congrats perfect job.

It was great I think it was a last minute replacement as it was in the show guide and another layout that was wasn’t there. I think that may have been the first Indian based layout I’ve seen and it’s great how they adapted British products to represent India. I was with my youngest so we couldn’t stay all day so I don’t know if it won an award.

@@WesternSignalman and i might follow in ur footsteps with converting Rheneas but i'll do the same with Skarloey and Rusty

@@upwellonwards7373 I’d be interested to see how you tackle rusty from what I understand he needs the most work of the three. I’ve just ordered a Peter Sam from totally Thomas as they come in next week and I’m gonna see what I can do with him.

I really enjoy watching layouts all over the world each country certainly has their own style. And you can ideas not commonly used over here. The British certainly are a less is more style of modeller with the smaller layouts (compared to some of the American ones) always built with a wealth of detail. I’m always fascinated with the European layout builds of hiding the storage yards under the layout as it the track winds around the board.

I stopped watching after the very first train came out with plenty of room, but no train crew or passengers. This showed me opportunities had been lost, obviously no point in watching any further.
