Could you write down the podcasts you've mentioned?
@-timaeus-97816 жыл бұрын
He mentioned Mike Duncan's History of Rome which I have also uploaded to it's own playlist as well as Rob Monaco's Podcast History Of Our World which I plan to upload in the near future. I am unfamiliar with the other two. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f6XaeK1qaMaSl80

Yes, I intend to, but there is so much I need to do that I tend to forget about some the various podcasts I want to upload.

There was no Greek population at that time in Greece, but Pelasgians/ Illyrians, ancestors of Albanians. There was no old Greek Language, spoken at that time, but the Albanian Language. Ilyada was written with Albanian words, North Albanian Dialect - Gheg! Giuseppe Catapano: "Atlantida which disappeared 12,000 years ago, was the land of the Illyrians/ Pelasgians (ancestors of Albanians), who escaped the flood of Atlantis and began new civilizations on all continents, especially in Europe, Africa and small Asia". He wrote the book: THOTH spoke Albanian! Thot means " to say" in Albanian Language.

Can you please ask the guy to use a pop filter? It's horrifying but the podcast is good.

Just because they had what knot figurines doesn't mean they were for some type of ritual worship. Gosh! my Mom had lots of what knots, just to look at for decoration. Odd that you left out ancient Hebrew, which was practically identical with ancient Greek, and actually, they came from the Phonecians language.

The majority of what is now Islamic was once Greek or Hellenic culture. Islam today claims to have invented science and philosophy and mathematics but what they actually dd was preserve ancient knowledge that was reclaimed later by the West during the Renaissance. Every Islamic country with few exceptions was once part of Hellenic or Roman civilization. Europe's Dark Ages were brought on by Islamic Conquest .
@bcm89846 жыл бұрын
Bullwinkle na the fall or Rome brought about the dark ages. A lot of what you said is right though. Islamic was more a symptom of being in the dark ages rather than a cause

this is the most simple minded and ridiculously racist thing I've ever read. good job.

Islam is not a race
@aperson51356 жыл бұрын
well... I wouldent be sure what word to use other than racist tbh kek

Well Islam is a belief not a race. it is okay to disagree with a belief or an idea. The west was subjected to attack and conquest by peoples who shared a belief and that belief motivated their acts. The video is about Greek culture. A large portion of Islamic conquest was directed at regions that were Greek in culture. Egypt had been Greek since Alexander and Greek culture went all the way to India. To be certain Persia even after Alexander retained it's culture (also sublimated to Islam) The real debate here is some will say Islam preserved western Culture and I say it retarded it (well set it back since retarded will get some opposition) (Its OKAY to be white)

Present day Greece is not the center of "Greek" culture. First of all, the Greeks had no name for themselves, Hellenes is an Italian coinage from when Greeks first settled Naples. Greek comes from Latin. "Greek" culture was already 6,500 years old by the time of Socrates. They began around a town, at the foothills of the Caucasus Mts., called "Colchis" 9,000 years ago. (It is still called that today) Some brought their lifestyle of vine cultivation and shepherding eastward and eventually turned into Armenia. Others learned how to sail and settled both sides of the Black Sea. Those in central Anatolia spoke Phrygian, a related dialect, but it disappeared. 7,500 years ago the Mediterranean Sea bridged the Bosphorus, the Black Sea rose 80ft. "Greeks" were in the Balkans 7,000 years ago. A bizarre story but I know it to be true.

You know? Sources? Evidence? Or was it revealed in a dream? Saying that you know is a very strong claim.
"Hymn to Ares"? Ares must have been asleep. It certainly doesn't sound like any martial music I've heard before. And you need more visual interest. A single cover photo just isn't enough.
