Amazing I have not ever in my 50+ years of crocheting seen such a beautiful crochet seam! Thank you for sharing your talent. Subscribing can't wait to learn more from you. Blessings

Not too many crocheters are aware of how a yarn over will untwist the ply of the yarn. Very perceptive of you to include that.

Love this, but you don't tell us how the triangle pieces are put together. Do you cut off then start over in the circle?? I can't figure that out, you need to show how to make the next triangle
@CherylDFloyd Жыл бұрын
Starting at 10:05, I demonstrate how to make the long row, which is Row 1 of the next triangle. Then repeat Row 2 through Row 12.

Can we make this bigger by creating a longer chain in the beginning? Or will that cause it not to lay flat?
@CherylDFloyd Жыл бұрын
It should work and still lay flat. I have seen blankets made like this, but I haven't tried it myself. You could try adding 2 chains to the beginning chain and see if it works for you. If it does, then you would feel better about adding even more chains for an even bigger piece. If you want to continue using two colors, just make sure you add chains in multiples of two.

I got a little too excited and accidentally made 8 triangles so it became an octagon. But I made a little crocheted loop at the end of the edge and now it is a nice potholder 🤩
@CherylDFloyd2 жыл бұрын
I did that several times, too, when I was designing this. Also, some of them were 7 triangles.

@CherylDFloyd Жыл бұрын

Would I be able to make this circle continuous to make a whole afternoon or lap Blanket
@CherylDFloyd2 жыл бұрын
Well...that would be a good challenge for someone to figure out. I did a lot of experimenting to get this small circle. After working on it so much, I lost interest in trying any larger size. You might want to try making a pillow size to see if you can calculate how many starting chains would achieve your desired finished size.
