my name is Rebecca. I have been working with resin art for a few years and would like to give you inspiration for new projects.
In this video I show you how I make a large bowl using two silicone molds, epoxy resin, Colorshift Pigment and hot water.

Very nicely done. Elegant appearance. Here in Canada, we can use hand sanitizer to remove gummy sticky tags and tape. U might want to try it on a test piece.

Maybe for shaping you could line a big bowl with wax paper and put the piece in while malleable

​@cindiegillson8464 usually I don't cover the edges. I think a topcoat would work or painting the edges of the silicone mold before pouring. The color would melt into the resin and won't come off.

I love this design so very much. Absolutely beautiful! I’d love to try something similar; can you tell me about how much resin did you put in the bottom of the large mold before you placed the smaller mold?

Very nice, how did you keep the chameleon powders from rising to the top, it usually does this and yours didn’t. I guess it doesn’t matter because the back will sit on the bigger tray mold, I was just curious

You are right, usually it does. Not sure why it didn't this time. Maybe the secret is not using too much of the powder.

Beautiful! I’ve just come here from Petra’s channel, she said you were her inspiration.😊 I haven’t seen a bowl done with a double pour before. Great job! It turned out wonderful. Maybe clear packing tape wouldn’t leave any residue? I think Petra used duct tape, I don’t know if she had any residue with it.

Eine tolle Schale hast du da gemacht. Wie hast du verhindert, das von dem 2k-700 einen mega amine blush verhindert hast? Bei mir gibt das immer total unschöne Stellen auf der ganzen Oberfläche, deshalb bin ich eigentlich von diesem Harz ganz weg gekommen. Ansonsten ist es ein super Harz, ich hab nur einfach immer das gleich Problem damit und vor allem noch wochen später... 😒LG Maggy Phoenix

Huhu, vielen Dank! Wenn ich das Harz angerührt habe, lasse ich es immer stehen, bis es leicht warm wird. Das verhindert meist, dass dieser Amine Blush entsteht. Ab und an hab ich den aber auch. Dann schleife ich die Oberfläche und mache einen Top coat drauf. Nehme dafür das DCS resin von Dipon. Für mich der beste Topcoat.
