For student you need to apply through Study Permit Visa.. Tourist visa is strictly not applicable so far as I know.

For your case, i.e. Student Permit you need - Letter of acceptance from university additionally (are you going to UNZA?).. try to call the admission office at university.. they will help you further..

No, you just need a valid visa and that's it! Crossing Land Border does not need to/fro tickets. It just needs VISA and, if at all, a question where are you going!

Brother in passport employment type is written as student . So will I get Zambia Work Visa ? Could you please check and reply accordingly.

Student Visa means you are there for study and not for employment. To get the Zambia Work VISA you need to apply separately. Check Here: eservices.zambiaimmigration.gov.zm/#/app/services

You need to go to Zambia Immigration Site (eservices.zambiaimmigration.gov.zm/). Then you need to select 'Services' and then select Single Entry / Double Entry / Multiple Entry Visa.
