(013) Desk drawer wafer lock picked open 3 ways

I have got myself a genuine problem! Got an old metal filing cabinet that contains tools and various paperwork - stuffed to the gunwales - never had a key. And it's decided to lock itself up! Never picked a wafer lock before, searched YT and found your video. My journey of discovery begins (I've already spent about 1/2 an hour on it!!!) @@roysammons2445 I picked it open and shut a few times using a city rake. However, that didn't work. In the end I cut a small inspection hole in the side and moved the 'lever' that locks the drawers. Thank you, your video helped. 👍🙏

@@lockmania-locks I have been working on some simple locks recently. Overcome most except one, it's a battle of wills with that one, I intend to overcome it.

You need to practice actually getting on each individual pin on the spp instead of sort of bitch picking, with hard tension and guessing what pin your on. Or atleast it looked that way, my first video of urs I ever seen so maybe it was just this lock

It's one of my early videos but on the last method of spp I am placing the pick on each pin and applying pressure until it clicks. For me a decent amount of tension works well on most wafer locks.
