Push it towards the rear as far as possible. Then press down front of base seat

No. There are no wires

@@01wizmiles01 thanks. I needed to remove the rear seat to get rid of a spider. Opened it up and saw a tonne of crud and mold etc. I've now vacummed it all out, steamed and wet vac extracted the entire rear. Just having to leave it air dry out and hopefully insert the base back in tomorrow. Thanks for your video, was really helpful.

How did you get he plastic side trim piece on the bottom back on? It looks like it needs to slide back of the 4 clips but I can't get it on for some reason.

Its a bit hard. When you pull the plastic off the plastic clips stay on the floor. Pull them out and put them on the plastic peace and then try to put the plastic back

The top half you dont need a tool just pull it forward

For me I had to pull it up wards not forwards. & It has to be evenly pulled on both sides side one side won’t come unlatched
