Thank you for this post. I was at this game. (The fan holding up the sign when Alexei Kovalev scored at 1:56). Life long Red Wings fan. I celebrated the Kovalev goal because Mario Lemieux assisted on it. The Red Wings will always be my favorite team, but Mario was my favorite player. My sign read Super Mario, #66 Simply the best!
