Excellent video. Excellent speed great snap. My only criticism would be that he is throwing too much elbow with his punches. The elbow should stay closer to the body has he throws his punches. But what do I know. I was fortunate enough to have been and studied with Frank Grant in Dayton Ohio. I was a student of Richard Curwell, Martha's Vineyard Massachusetts and Don Capenegro, Florida. I was fortunate to have met some of Master Magamine's proteges when they visited Martha's Vineyard back in the '70s. Overall I really like this collection of Shorin Ryu Matsubayashi Ryu Katas. Good job and just like the pictures in the book!

These are some of the worst katas I have ever seen. Check out Kenyu Chinen instead. I was in Shorin Ryu all the way to brown with a stripe and this guy would not have gotten past yellow belt in our dojo. The punch is supposed to approach the same speed following lead toe. And yes I have checked out his other videos and they are sloppy as well. You have to keep in mind that if you really believe in keeping martial arts alive why let it be demonstrated poorly to people who are trying to learn it? If anybody came in to any dojo that I have ever been in lacking snaps in their gi, sensei would have taken the time to rework them. But this is not adequate
