Some authors leaves us an unforgetable story some artist an aweinspiring work some musicians leaves an imortal piece of music Tolkien, he left us a world, and a genre redefined.

Years later and this still brings me happiness in the darkest of times. As Sam said, "Even darkness must pass. A new day will come, and when the sun shines it will shine out the clearer. Those were the stories that stayed with you, that meant something, even if you were too small to understand why". I do understand now, and I thank J.R.R. Tolkien for gifting this masterpiece to the world

I think the reason people don't care much about the environment is because they're so much separated from it. If only we take a moment, to look at the flower on your way to work, on the path back home, notice the smallest ecosystem, the leaves, the blossom, the bird flying above, go take a walk outside, feeling like we're a part of it all, of this big, big world that no matter how much we adventure we'll never see anough of it.

The Road goes ever on and on, Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the road has gone, And I must follow, if I can Pursuing it with weary feet Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet And whither then? I cannot say - Bilbo Baggins

There's something incredibly beautiful about this song that I can't quite put my finger on. It captures so well the sense of adventure and glory that is the heart of LotR, but also appeals to the emotion, that aspect of this tale that touches your soul and never goes away. It's sad and happy at the same time.It lets your mind wander and really think about the story as a whole, which gives me shivers every darn time.LotR is truly the most awe-inspiring and timeless piece of fiction ever to exist.

Reading the books while listening to the soundtrack of the Musical and the movies... as if Tolkiens lines aren't enough to throw me into his world and make me dream of other worlds, hear the sounds, get the feeling and chills, breathe the air :-) It matches so well.

When I watched the movies some years ago, LOTR lost some of it's magic to me, maybe because I was to focused on the action and the war scenes. When I heard this song, it reminded me on all the beautiful parts of both the movies and the books, just right after listening to this, I watched the Fellowship movie, the melody of this song in my ears, and as soon as I have my books back from the friend I lend them, I will read 'em all again. Thanks! :D Your video gave LOTR it's magic back.

So, we were on a family road trip and everyone was complaining they were hungry, so my dad said "Hang on, there's a gas station about a mile away" So my sister and I burst out singing "One more mile, then it's time to eat!" It was kind of awesome.

no this song is from the musical. but there are "the road goes ever on" songs, one featured in the hobbit chapter 19 and one from the lord of the rings in the fellowship of the ring chapter 1 and 3 movies the song is sung and hummed by Gandalf as he approaches Frodo. Also when Bilbo makes his way off in attempt to finish his book, he sings a verse of the song. The later occurrences of this song are based on those in the books.
