Alternatively, you can use this for vibrational therapy healing. Just get a second tube to sing offset 3 hrtz from the first singing tube to create a standing wave interaction between the two tones, the emitted standing wave nodes that propagate out increase the amplitude of power and vibration and this can be used to give your body and cells a gentle internal massage that be used as medicinal healing sound therapy.

I went to Blade Attila channel and it is informative, but your omnibus really explains things so I get it better. There is really something to be said for teachers that get the points across without expecting the student to connect the dots on their own. Thank you.

Yep, I agree with you! The two channels are different. I'm not very good at English, but I manage with it in life. I intend my experiments to be more attention-grabbing, so that those who are really interested in the topic take the trouble to look into things more deeply. If I were to pass on too much deep-knowledge in the videos, it would deter viewers who are expecting interesting things. In few videos I've tried to going in the "how it works" deeply, but it's generated a huge amount of questions and the other people (who just like to see the interesting actions) don't really understood the answers them. Robert has an aura that made this communication much easier in his videos with his perfect english. I really like his simple tutorials. BLADE

Thank you both for making stirling cycle videos. I haven't got my engine running yet.. (tin can style) so thank you for keeping the ideas coming. Industry has not given these things the attention they deserve and DIY is the only way to go right now. I mean, you can buy an overpriced toy or a barely working fan but these should be cheaper than a lawn mower engine... And they are not! The more enthusiasts the better.@@AttilaBlade

@@AttilaBlade keep up the good work showing stuff. Your channel gives a different perspective. More ways to build things. Robert said to go look at your videos so I did. I then had to go back and re -watch Robert. Then I understood what you were doing better as well. New things require a desire to learn and not give up. It also helps if I watch things several times till I get it. YT VIDEOS still better than any school education. As I can watch things over and over till I get it.

My first thoughts are on brass horn bells for amplification.
@gerryplayz4532 Жыл бұрын
I think the same, Trumpets don't have batteries so you don't need extra energy to amplify sound waves 😎👍

Awesome, a horn on the end could be good for the diaphragm version. 😎👍

Hey Rob my pal, actually there is solder that bonds with aluminum and coper it's could ALU 1 from the brand STANNOL is pretty expensive but worth it! I bought 500g of it and I Highly recommend it to you. 👌😎 Clean the solder joints up after soldering. The flux is really aggressive to prevent corrosion.

I couldn't find any data that anyone before me had made such a thin air power piston standing wave engine. The Hofler-tube is a totally different engine. Hofler-tube is a thermoacoustic cooling design that cannot be used as a generator because it is a Pusle tube. These are differences: 1. The driver, i.e. the power piston, is not the thin tube, but the mechanical piston or speaker on the other side of the machine. 2. Therefore, the thin tube has a completely different role, it is a Pulse tube. In my tube, the gas in the thin tube is the power piston, in the Hofler tube it is the displacer. 3. The pulse tube Hofler-tube is not a standing wave machine, it does not have a stack, but a regenerator in it.

Maybe using piezoelectric generators can be more efficient because they tend to work better at its resonant frequency, that tends to be higher than regular speakers, so working better with shorter tubes, and you can also tune the resonant frequency with coils and capacitors
@kelvinsparks4651 Жыл бұрын
There's endless possibilities with this. The company I work for has a waste to energy branch that burns waste wood and every time I go to a site I can't help but think how inefficient it is , the introduction of something different this would make sense a lot better. Just a note for you Rob, wear ear defenders , take it from me , a life with tinnitus isn't that great .

NICE ACOUSTIC ENGINE SO DO PART2 PLEASE

Two test tubes must be connected with a T-copper fitting. There are two machines on two sides, and a long tube must be placed on the hole in the middle. A longer pipe should be used than in the case of a machine. It blows very well, you put a turbine in front of it then two LEDs light up brightly with it. If you want a resonant generator, you have to put the membrane in place of the tube, which is approx. It should be 40-50 mm wide. 1-2 coins must be glued to the membrane. You can increase the size even further by making another such machine and connecting the two to each other in a Push-pull (oppesite other) setup. This way you can easily multiply the performance, but the disadvantage is that you have to heat it in four places.

With the tile preventing the heat from transferring to the cold side, maybe a 3d printed cold side would be possible? It would be cheap, light, and easy to iterate on.
