When painting a canvas, I’ve noticed that it’s not the beginning that is as difficult as somewhere in the middle of the process. That’s when doubts and trouble can (and do) set in! The important thing is to keep going … Also David, when you create characters, like you did for the Savage Eye, your acting skills shine through. Consider the Garda instructor or the Bull Mick - these characters have such presence that you could create a whole series about them and their world.

Just found this show today and am glad I did. Its excellent that you are dissecting Mick Wallace as you did. There's far more about him and his partner in crime that is going to come out about their allegiances with Iranian backed militias, who they met in Iraq in 2021, the Syrian regime of Bashar Al Assad and the totalitarian Iranian regime. There's a direct line between all of these and onto Russia. I've spent nearly 10 years here in Syria (here now), and also Iraq and Kurdistan, humanitarian projects mainly, and didnt really no much about Mick and Clare until around 2021. Suffice to say questions have been asked about their work. Anyway, EU elections are in June 2024. I most definitely will be home to make sure I vote, am based in south Wicklow, and to do my bit to share the shenanigans of those two charlatans. Good luck with this show. Looking forward to catching up on previous ones and new ones to come.

In 2014, 2016 and 2018, both the BBC newsnight team and the Guardian newspaper made documentaries about Ukraine and the rise of neo nazi military soldiers there- the Ukranians child camps training children for war (beginning in 2014, 9 years ago now) and how these neo nazis were gaining power in government with their aim for a "clean" Ukraine - no Russians or Polish, just Ukranians. These 3 documentaries are on KZbin, journalist Gabriel Gatehouse BBC. East Ukraine is mostly Russian speaking Ukranians, who consider themselves Russian Ukranians. Putin invaded East Ukraine as he claimed 'Ukranian Russians were being killed in east Ukraine. This is exactly what these documentaries predicted would happen, 9 years ago, speaking with military Ukranians who had swastika tattoos and called themselves nationalist socialists wanting a "clean" Ukraine. I don't know the whole story here but we're only "allowed" have one story .....that's what I object to. The Russian ambassador was on RTE news saying Russians were being killed in Ukraine and the newsreader called him a liar. But Ukraine has been building it's military for this purpose since their revolution in 2014. Ukraine is a country with a long history of war, and now they have NATO and America backing them. "We are not nazis but we are a bit like them" one Ukranian soldier quoted when interviewed in the 2014 BBC newsnight documentary on " Ukraine and the rise of neo nazis" . No one talks about this though. Also check out the 2018 Guardian documentary on KZbin about "the rise of child camps in Ukraine" these 3 documentaries are still on KZbin, but for how much longer. There are more things going on in the background we know nothing about, so do your own research. Oliver Stone has a good take on it too. And hey, "hi Johnny! It's been a while - still looking good 😉
