I love that old 695, even if the controls, gears etc. are in really awful positions 😄 - all mechanical, no electronics and no thrills. 💪🏻 but I would probably check that backend oil again after running it for a few hours and having run the loader through a few cycles just to be safe, we have an old Case/David Brown 1494 with a loader on and it is basically the same tractor. It sometimes decieves with the oil levels, depending on if the tractor is hot or cold, have been used or stood still for a while, so it wouldn't hurt to check it again after loading a trailer or two 👍🏻
@chrislee22212 ай бұрын
Funny that my 1394 with a loader is just the same on back end oil too.
@minkavlerenyt2 ай бұрын
@@chrislee2221 my thinking so far on it is that for all the tractors case built on that platform, so that be the 90, 94, 6xx, 7xx, 8xx and 9xx series, its some kind of design flaw, that the backend and hydraulics share and use the same oil resviour and its just not big enough, everyone I've spoken to with a tractor in one of those series say the same thing, you can't trust the oil level dipstick, I've even asked a few retired case mechanics and they figure the same. so either it was a calculated chance on Case and/or David Browns part, being they figured there would be just enough oil or they didn't foresee exactly how much oil would be used if you fitted a loader and also wanted to use the hydraulics and use the 3-point lift.
@johnmchardy45022 ай бұрын
1494 is a real David brown absolutely nothing in common with an international case different transmission and backend all together
@minkavlerenyt2 ай бұрын
@@johnmchardy4502 well not really, the 90 and 94 series share many of the same components, ours has Case stickers and logos on it, but the same tractor can also have the David Brown or Case/David Brown stickers and logos on it. - But if you meant that the 90 series was the last series to both be branded and painted in the David Brown colors, then that is correct. The 90 and 94 series are from that turmoil period where Case was taking over the David Brown production after buying majority stake, which is why they all have that same distinctive cab design that also was on the other series. Which is why in the promotional videos we see the 94 series in the red Case colors and not the white David Brown colors, even though they came in both. But the backend, the frame, components are basically the same for every series up until the 9xx, obviously only for the 4 cylinder tractors of course, the 1590 and 1690 and 94 are more comparable to the 51xx and 52xx.

Would it not be better like when you have the odd load of bales from the other farm during the winter when you have a stack over there to fetch them with the 695 so as the tree team would still have it to use instead of leaving it over there when you are carting a lot it is fair enough to take over there cuz it's not very fun carting with a loader tractor at the best of times if you get what I mean sounds very confusing lol 😂

Hi Farmer P 🙂 You look absolutely stunning in Blue 👍👌. I know green is your favourite colour but the colour green you wear doesn't do you any favours. It is too dull. Now, if you were to change to EMERALD green you would look as stunning in that as the Royal blue. Please as Mrs P to source some Emerald green shirts for you, Farmer P. It would make such a difference to your overall (pardon the pun) appearance . You could get 10K more lady subscribers because of your new 'dashing' and enhanced 'handsome' appearance 🤗😍😃. Are all country cyclists in England so discourteous to ride 2 abreast in traffic? 😮 Embarrassing as it is for me to mention, (now, now, Farmer P keep clean thoughts.) I do check the oil level in my car regularly, but the 695 dipstick must have been at least 6ft long . Where on earth is the sump on the 695? Behind the rear wheel 😳?. Hope the bales are OK and not damaged by the rainfall. It's a slippery ledge between dry and wet in harvest time. 🤞 Thanks for the video, Farmer P. Take care and hug for Biskit 🐕🩷🐕
