Wet epoxy to dry epoxy🤔 mite want to sand the base epoxy for the wet epoxy to stick too..

do you ever have to run a heat gun over the board to pop any air bubbles to keep the resin clear?

not really, at this stage the board is fully sealed so there shouldn't be any air bubbles appearing, and the brush does a good job of smoothing out the resin without bubbles when spreading

Does it make a relevant difference if you apply more than one layer of fiberglass on each side?

Not on this step, if anything the only difference would be on the laminating stage where you would want to mix a little bit more resin.

Hey there, first of all great job! I am following your build guild to build a 5,11 fish and I am wondering whether it is better to install fin plugs, leash plug and vent bevor or after glassing ?

Thanks mate, you can do either, I have now started doing after the fill coat so that I can pigment the resin used for setting the plugs in place and not have it stain/discolor the wood around the plugs. Futures plugs and FCS2 are generally installed before the fibreglassing happens thou.
