I use to live in Kansas, I've seen this type of damage before while living there, it is awful and scary when it is happening. Nature is so powerful; we humans are humbled in the presence of such power. I pray for the health and well-being of all those adversely effected by this event. Building and structures can be rebuilt, but lost lives are gone forever.

That fiberglass insulation causes so many health problems. I don't know why it's still used in construction. When stuff like this happens, those fiber glass splinters just blow into the wind, and into the eyes and lungs of everyone around. Truly concerning how toxic our lives are with how we build things. I bet the kids are happy to not return to school tho. Hope no one got hurt.

That's the worst kind of misinformation, the kind presented as accepted fact, but in direct contradiction of objective evidence to the opposite. Most of the 10 deadliest tornadoes in US history occurred before the era of jet travel, in the 1950's, 40's, 30's, 20's and even as far back as 1840. Industrialization has certainly brought its own woes, but making up false ones, literally out of thin air, is a special kind of impaired "reason." Science isn't a global conspiracy.
