At the same time, moving at a medium pace is recommended. Gets you out of the hail core faster than if you sat like a duck asking to be pelted. Now, that doesn't mean continue core-punching, but try to get out of it. Stopping also creates a hazard for you and possibly others, especially on highways.

At :22, you can see an overpass coming up. Seeing that the hail had just started and was getting heavier, the smart thing to do would have been to pull over and stop under the overpass and wait for the hail to stop.
